Hey Sup Forums...

Hey Sup Forums, I have started working while standing and since then I feel great! Does this really help or is it placebo? Are there any other anons in here who do their computing while standing?

>48h marathons by standing.

I sit.

Nice bottle of Fortuna user, it really is one of the sweetest dark beers out there

They say I will burn 240 calories in 8 hours just by standing.

>Stretching that out to a full year of working on weekdays, with some vacation and sick time thrown in, and you get…an extra 60,000 calories per year! That amounts to 17,2 pounds of weight loss per year.

my average daily calorie consumption exceeds 3k most of the time, sometimes even 4k. yet im still underweight as fuck.

There is something wrong with your thyroid.
You may also have gut worms or cancer. Ask your doctor. This is not normal.

Not him but I've always done the same thing, and I've never had a thyroid issue or parasites (knock on wood)
>mfw 6'1" 145lb

i hit the gym 2 times a week.
Had myself checked already, doctors say im healthy.

>i hit the gym 2 times a week.
I see. My pride does not allow me to pay for the gym.

What shoes are the best for long standing?

its only 30€ per month..

running shoes in my experience.

With 30€ I can pay for everything excluding rent for a month. I prefer going to a physical part time job from time to time. Why pay for the effort when you can get paid for it?

As a chef who stands for 12 hours a day enjoy your shin splints and fucked knees.

well, what works for you is what matters.

Our distant ancestors used to walk all the time and they were fine. We evolved to stand and walk. Your floor is probably too hard.

>chef
Hes working on stone flooring.

>Our distant ancestors used to walk all the time and they were fine
Yeah... they walked on dirt and grass most of the time.

What if I put a soft thick carpet on the floor?

What do you guys think about kneeling chairs?

What is your position while browsing Sup Forums?

the most uncomfortable shit I've ever used.

So one choclate bar a day.

Aka Yoga chairs, Total shite.

Just invest in a proper mesh chair like an aeron to keep pressure off muscles. Take regular breaks and stretch.

this is how your feet look like when you stand for 12h everyday

>So one choclate bar a day.
3 large potatoes.
That's something.

I take regular naps during the day. Shouldn't that help my feet?

...

I got a desk that can switch between standing and sitting mode. So worth it.

You fell for the TV commercial?

I'm 6.7. Will this desk go that high?

...

This. Always wearing running shoes in the lab. Standing for 8h+ never felt this good.
