itt we debunk tech myths

>always burn discs at the lowest speed as it increases their reliability

15 year old tech myths?

this isn't a myth and is still true for older computers/disk drives

that's true though, OP. the chances may be negligible these days, but the principle holds.

PS2 games used to get fucked at high speeds.

This is actually true and recommended by disc manufacturers. While your PC may be hella-fast, you've got to remember that more than likely, your CD/DVD/Blu-Ray burner has a dumb-as-shit controller in it and the actual bandwidth for what it can handle as far as writing is almost as much a mystery to you, as it is/was for the manufacturer.

This is especially true for older drives in general.

>the OP is old enough to browse Sup Forums

Your mother used to get fucked at high speeds

Why is there a fridge on a surfboard?

yawn

...

...

I have a bad news for you man, that thing that you fuck in the kitchen...

...

You do realize what the difference is do you?

I remember having to burn CDs at slower speeds to run arr matie games on my modchipped Saturn, else they just wouldn't read properly. That was more a problem with the Saturn being shit, though.

what is this meme?

Audiophilia

That's just audiophile shit in general.

But that's not a myth retard.

>That broken green crayon on the floor
Lost it. What's the point of having all this absurd audiophile garbage if you let your dumbass kids play around near it? Just gonna get wrecked.

[eurobeat intensifies]

what do you mean?

>muffled un tiss un tiss un un un tiss un tiss un tiss un un un tiss

Fridges are Sup Forums, I knew it!

Mods are asleep. Post fridges.

>he's not RUNNING IN THE '90s

That's swanky but I bet it costs as much as a car

LOL, INTERNET

If you plug in two USB devices on the same 'port' (right next to each other on the back of your mobo) they have a higher chance of interfering with one another.

>thinking that gpu rasterization on web browsers are efficient
>expecting stutter free gaming on a system with 2 cpu cores and disabled triple buffering

AMD is better value
