I have some new piece of shit wireless adapter that won't fucking work. BrosTrend ac600. Their only tech support contact is an email, and their phone number looks like a Chinese number, I can't reach it with my phone.
Nothing about this fucking works. Installing and uninstalling drivers frequently hangs and fucks up. The PC won't shut down without it unplugged. Trying to disable it, reach My Devices and scan for new networks nearly always fucks up and hangs.
I can FUCKING SEE THIS PIECE OF SHIT listed in the Network Connections list, and it says it's diaabled. Trying to enable it takes a second, claims it is now enabled, and does nothing. I'm running windows 10 by the way.
What should I do? Send it back? Buy a different one? Is there some underlying problem in my windows installation? What do you guys use? Should I just wire a huge ass cable up to this room?

Ever since I got a new modem, I've been having a few problems with the Internet.
Basically, Sup Forums already banned me twice for "use of a proxy/VPN node", when in reality I don't use either.
Aside from that, I have problems when trying to login to PSN. Even when the device is connected to the WAN, I won't be able to login until I reset the modem (I have a dynamic IP).
The only thing I tried was to disable the firewall from the modem config and it didn't work.

Lately every device on my network has been having download issues. A device will start a download, then it will fail. This happens on my desktop, PS3 and Xbox 360. I suspect it's because of my router, but it's a N66RU and I haven't changed anything on it since I got it besides security stuff.

considering cpus have not advanced much at all within the past 5 years I think you'll be fine for at least 10 years.

Every time I've had that problem with a router it's because it's getting overheated and shutting down. Unplug it, blow out the dust with a compressed air can, let it cool off for 30 minutes or so, and hook it back up. Make sure it has some space around it for ventilation.
Do all that, and if it still fucks up, come back.
