No, but seriously, how great are these "netbooks".

Good performance for general use like web browsing and office, god tier battery life, low cost.

Also going to toss in a 128GB Shark for extra storage when I get home.
Thanks csg!

Ayy lmao asus shilling trying so hard.

Sounds like a mactard is suffering from buyers remorse :^)

Of course the 2 watt chip will throttle less than 7+ watt.

>Asus

OP here, in case you couldn't tell, I was joking about the macbook. I do not expect an Intel atom to compete with a macbook processor in any way save for raw efficiency.

Shit man, they make decent laptops.

Enjoy your paperweight.

I sold T100's for Australia's biggest electronics retailer.

They all have a sleep and never wake up issue that rears it's ugly head at some point.

This. I'm surprised anyone would even make something with specs that shitty.

It's actually pretty great for general use, I recommend trying out an atom when you're at your local pc superstore

that's me saying lol, yours is good for shitpost here and watch some vid, but from muh specks wise why did u get t100? t200 or dell inspiron 11 and pavilionx360 exist and they're cheap.

Wew lad

Because I couldn't get those for 60aud, lol.

It's a great study laptop for taking notes and looking shit up.

Plus I can detach the keyboard so no more awkward elbows when watching shit on the bus

I have one. God tier device, but Linux support is shit tier.

Bought one with Buttcoins for like $250 shortly after it came out.
I'm actually still surprised how well that fucker works with 2GB RAM and an Atom.
Was pretty disappointed with Windows and its instabilities though.
The Windows 10 update made it a little more sluggish, but somehow managed to bump the battery life up to 8 hours of screen on time again.

Mines easily getting more than 8 hours SoT, but I usually use it indoors with low brightness.

I wish they'd put some batteries in the keyboard dock though, would have been so much better

>Windows 32 bit.

why

Because it's probably a better idea when you've got 2gb ram?
Windows used slightly less than 600MB on boot, that's about on par with Ubuntu.

64 bit would be more like 1.1GB

32 bit UEFI

Probably for a third of the cost.

>better than apple macbook battery life
stopped reading there

I have the same kind of shit on my old Toshiba Satellite P50T, and guess what? the retards made the battery non-removable. Every time this happens I must dismantle the laptop and unplug the battery power cable from the motherboard.

Macbooks don't really get advertised battery life, but they're still pretty good.

These atom netbooks get just as good battery life as a 90w macbook, check them out in reviews.

This, battery life is always heavily exaggerated on a macbook
