I have actually found it relatively slow compared to Chrome and Firefox. It also doesn't have nearly as many extensions.

Webms have been around for a few years, mate. If Edge doesn't have it by now, it is way behind the times. Try not to be behind Firefox and Chrome in terms of web standards. In fact, try to support them in the main build (not the previews) as soon as they're released.
