>97 degrees
Gee, only three more before water evaporates. Guess it is warming faster than expected after all.

but who was phone?

are you in Texas?

Nope. Try again.

Imagine when the United States technology moves into the current millennium and starts using degrees centigrade like the rest of the entire planet. Now that will be a technological breakthrough for the burger lovers.

Friendly reminder that it's going to get hotter and hotter every year until you die.

friendly reminder anime posters are the cancer of the world

Pennsylvania!! Power has been out due to storms for the past few days or so

Air conditioning because I'm not a poorfag.

Air conditioning. my AC broke last year towards the end of summer and i was putting off replacing it. I sat in pretty extreme temps for nearly 2 months. Initially it was pretty miserable, but after a long enough time i seemed to stop sweating, which made it 'tolerable'. However, at that point my entire body was covered in heat rash, which is why I wasn't sweating. Anything even remotely strenuous/winding caused my entire body to itch like crazy and i was covered with red bumps, not like welts or pimples but rashes that made an almost weblike pattern across my torso, legs, arms, and back.

Needless to say I manned up about a month ago, the heat rash cleared up within a few days and i've been enjoying a cool ~70 degrees ever since. My fingertips are even a bit icy feeling right now.

I wonder how close I was to something seriously bad happening to my health like a stroke.

Fans are surprisingly good for way less initial cost and operating costs of air conditioners. I use one aim at my genitals under my desk and one aimed at my face.

...

AC

>97°

You boiling m8?

I am, it was 103 degrees Fahrenheit today. Best advise is pool technology, A/C technology, iced tea technology like , and/or sun screen and minimal time outside.

>Gee, only three more before water evaporates.
>evaporates.

fucking eurocucks can't even basic elementary school physics

Dat cunt sweat.

heroin

In PA as well. Boy has this weather been a riot.

ac is broke in my house, and for some stupid reason, michigan is reaching into the 100's. So i've been basically just making my room hotter by running a dehumidifier.

Dry heat is way better than being humid as fuck.

>implying 97 is even that hot

>97 degrees
How can you still be alive to post this? o.O

This doesnt happen to normal people... use a fucking fan if its THAT god damn hot.

Or make a mini swamp cooler since they do make a difference at that temp.

Or you know BUY A FUCKING WINDOW AC FOR $100 or less.....

Window AC for less than $100.....

Hey, you! Yes, you fuckin retarded 'murican! Tell me once more why don't you use the metric system like EVERY FUCKING BODY ON THIS PLANET DAMNIT. Do you really need to feel different or you just can't wrap your head around things other than 'feet' cuz you are like a mentally challenged 10 year old European kid

wtf

>97 degrees
Silly American, you'd die at that heat.

>97
Please user come back when it's 125

>Heat rash is a red or pink rash usually found on body areas covered by clothing.
>It can develop when the sweat ducts become blocked and swell

Nigga, take a fucking shower from time to time!

Not him but it doesn't help. The problem is the skin being wet 24/7. What can help is baby powder or similar to try and control the moisture. I had that shit in Bangkok when staying in a hotel for a week with no AC. You somehow have to get your skin dry for it to heal but when you are sweating constantly it's impossible.

Like 15 Celsius here. Also it's raining. No ac needed
T. Finland

12 here. Also rain. Canada.

satown here, supposed to be 94 today

Why would you get a rotting tooth as mascot?

big d here, got some rain but it's fucking hot

dont canadians have fahrenheit too?

Nope

What's a good portable air conditioning? Where I'm moving, there is no AC unit so I'm going to fucking fry if I don't buy one.

Friendly reminder that the imperial system is ass

It can make your temperature 5-10 degrees (celsius) lower
But it's rather annoying due to its noise

Fahrenheit allows for more accurate readings and therefore is better. We're also winning the Olympics so there's that too.

Fuck man, I wish. Southern Ontario and it's cooled down to 29. I want to go back to Alberta.

It's better than frying in >30 degrees (Celsius) heat. I keep my computer fans on high anyways and wear headphones.

A modern insulated home with air conditioning.

Kenmore is good. But in general get one with two hoses for intake and exhaust. Makes a huge difference.

> I have never used a digital thermometer
> It never ocurred to me to look closely at my analog thermometer

You're right, an outdated system for a fallen empire is perfect.

>heat rash
white people sure is weak.

You can also just keep all your windows/doors/blinds closed and sleep at day time
That way the temperature stays lower
And at night you can just open everything so it gets cool after a few hours

How to improve swamp cooler cooling?

What's your opinion on kelvin then? And you missed my second statement about the Olympics.

>We're also winning the Olympics so there's that too
It's because USA use drugs to enhance athletes performance.

3 degrees below boiling point?
You must be suffering.

Craigslist maybe? I got mine for a hundred something online.

get the one on wheels that vents to the outside (as opposed to the standard AC unit).
they might be more expensive but they're a piece of cake to install and move around

The dorm room I'm moving into in 2 weeks has no fucking airconditioning.

F U C K M Y L I F E

Any of you lads got any solutions? /diy/ just laughed at me.

youtube.com/watch?v=HxSLbpAwibg

Problem is I'll have to go and pick up some ice every few hours

>Using the smiley with a carat nose

I'm guessing you can't have a freezer and the dorm freezer can't be used for storing 1 gallon buckets of water in either
