I stream a lot of music and i think RED is honestly the way to go. I use YouTube exclusively to listen to music anyway since Spotify, Pandora, etc. etc. don't host the artists i listen too.

I'd like it on my phone.
Don't want to root it and the ads are far worse on mobile. Too bad it's only in select few countries.
i still have the ad blocker, but like the other guy said it's mostly a plus on mobile. i use youtube for the music so it's more often on my phone than on my PC.
also pretty useful to be able to turn off the screen.

Use webtube from f droid. Better then the YouTube app and let's you turn the screen off.
I use Google Play Music, so YouTube RED coming with it is nice.
I torrent because all those things plus YT don't host the artists I listen to
