If you plan on using it with high dpi screen, I'd recommend using Opera instead. Dunno if the botnet content is any less but at least it has no problems scaling and doesn't look shit.

It could be your connection because Sup Forums loads pretty quick on a fresh install of Firefox 64-bit with Disconnect addon which helps to debloat websites and increase loading time.

I'd use a patched chromium if the chromium team:
1. Hadn't botched the extension API so that uMatrix can't see our block background network requests made by other extensions;
2. Hadn't utterly destroyed native don't rendering.

Can't be that because compared to firefox, Chrome loads the catalog instantly whereas Firefox completely freezes for a few seconds and then finally loads. Same thing happens whenever entering a thread with a lot of replies.

I have that same problem, not only with Firefox, but all of its main forks too. So I just switched to Opera and now I'm a happy camper.

It sounds like your corrupted it somehow. Start in safe mode and see if it loads quickly without addons or application extensions.
