GNOME users literally retarded, you can tell GNOME doesn't even take there users seriously by using the arrow keys as the default hotkeys, and WM/DE that knows there users aren't retarded would use hjkl (or something like that) by default. Also, GNOME encourages you to use the mouse and be as slow as possible.
