780 is similar to 970 which is barely behind the 1060.

Go with a 1070 at least if you want a proper upgrade. 780 to 1060 would be like going from 970 to 980.

I'd love to agree, but going from maxwell/kepler to Pascal is horrible for ausfags since we went from an almost equal dollar back then to paying almost 30 percent more per dollar now.

Ive been an AMD fan for the last 8 years, however this time I couldnt justify going for a Fury X over a 1070 for 21:9 1440p. Hope my first Nvidia card goes well.
