who high test here?
because they can anthropomorphise it and get away with it.
I want to ride her all night long.
does it say Sup Forums phag on one of the fins?
Can, technically, and practically, people be transported inside the stomach?
t. someone who doesn't know how they work
No
if you want to change your cargo from passengers to corpses while midair, then yes
where's the butthole
What the fuck
r34 on this nao!!

Not for long
m'lady
Are these things usefull in ant way? Can they transport heavy stuff?
just imagine being inside
The real question is why are butts so airship?
they've been talking less about transportation with airships and more about using them for internet.
BURRRRPMPFF
BREHS...
Oh yeah sit on my face.
if dubs it end like the hindenburg
the dub gods have spoken, now you must sacrifice yourself
my humps
I think the idea is that they're hybrid blimp-planes, leaning more towards blimp.
The body/fins generate lift in forward motion in addition to buoyancy derived from the helium.
Short takeoff/landing distances can make for good freight hauling coupled with these things, but it's still a blimp. There are a variety of applications.

I am. I'm so high test, I reread PUA neomasculinity blogs while stroking my beard.

Who the fuck designed this things propulsion systems? Doesn't look like it will produce enough forward thrust from the rear props to maintain level with the forward control props.
So this is just two blimps glued together yah?
Hello there, beauty
someone went to college for this
youtube.com
Someone with a engineering masters actually thought this was a god idea.
>Who the fuck designed this things propulsion systems?
Probably someone who knows a hell of a lot more about airships than you do
Of course you'd know better than the guy who designed it.
Let me guess you would have done this
>lets just slap some helis to a blimp
>only held together by a fragile aluminium frame, glue and some popsickle sticks

thar be the fattest booty i ever seen in me life m80

If the aircraft itself is balanced, the location of thrust isn't as important as it might otherwise be.
And most blimps are balanced quite evenly.

what the fuck

Yes.
Those are some beautiful torpedo tits
That's an R
that's a nice airship
Enjoy spending 2 days for a cross-atlantic flight
As long as there were luxurious interiors and you could walk around I'd say why not. Fuck the flying sardine can.
because most travellers have things to do and places to be. Honestly if you're not in a rush just take a ferry everywhere, its much more comfy

Some people get seasick.

don't you guys remember the hindenberg?
You could at least put some effort into it.
w/e your life to play with
airships are the best way to travel.
>le Steampunk false-nostalgia intensifies
No, but really. Airships are cool. Steampunk is cool. Victorian chicks wearing goggles, with homemade guns strapped to their legs/boots are cool.
You see what I'm saying?
GOLD STAR FAMILY
Funny thing is, aside from a few small experiments there were really no airships during the victorian "steam" era.
They mostly came about during what would considered the "diesel punk" era.
Then again i see steampunk ray guns so, whatever the fuck.
Sounds cool. Can't wait till they start using these for people who want to kill themselves
How long would it take one of these things to cross the Atlantic? Any hope of cheaper, yet longer, air travel?
Very little fuel used whilst transporting very heavy gear and vehicles, you could probably fit quite a few tanks inside
That's probably not what happened. However, not doing a proper vibration analysis is what fucked them. Those choppers were all probably rotating at the same frequency causing harmonization. I blame the engineer(s) for not thinking that one out.
Also, what you just described is most commercial air planes. Fragile aluminum frame held together by a thin aluminum skin riveted on.
