SSD are THAT good?

I've two laptop, one is very fast and reactive, other is shit. OS is the same.

>one gaming laptop, 8gb ram, strongest AMD mobile cpu 3.5gjz, very strong graphic card (hd 8970m) but no ssd. hdd at 5400
>one tablet/laptop with intel atom 1.3ghz, 2gb ram, no graphic card but sdd.

Yet, the second is BY FAR way faster, reactive.

Why are SSD so good

This is weak b8
I wish I could still sage

You can...

>HDD at 5400
man it's not even hard drives that are bad, it's that that's literally the slowest RPM consumer hard drive that can be sold anymore.
but yeah it's mostly the SSD, they're great.

How the fuck can I my thread be bait? I forget the gentoo, 16gib pajeet etc. maymays for son of whores like you?
go fuck yourself faggot maybe? failed abortion

You butthurt your bait does not bait?
Sage btw.

Placebo. SSDs are a meme, don't buy them.

I've an msi gx60 and an Asus transformer and I'm using them right now, wich led to my thread, do you want a pic or your tetrasomy will still be there?
there's nothing remotly baity, just experience sharing.

This, I don't want others enjoying the reliability, I/O and transfer speeds I am, don't you dare to use an SSD like me.

>AMD
>very strong

8970m and A10-5750M is good.
basically strongest 2014-2015 laptop

>AMD GPU
>strongest

8970m was better than 780m is many games. Basically a 7970 desktop.

>amd
>strongest

Well no shit, an SSD is way faster than a 5400rpm HDD.

the data from notebookcheck confirm what I said.

your irrelevant meme pic doesn't

>Why are SSD so good
Orders of magnitude lower latency

Open a program -> it launches instantly instead of in 5 seconds

Log in -> It's immediately usable instead of only in 1 second

etc.

It depends on how you perceive fast. The gaming laptop is faster in processing terms, while the other one can react faster to I/O operations. The SSD one reacts faster to normal operations (opening applications etc.), but it will be much slower when it has to do processing intensive stuff (gaming, compiling, 3d designing etc.)

>it's that that's literally the slowest RPM consumer hard drive
That's only important for seek times.

Nope, seek times and data transfer, how dumb are you?

>inb4 hurr I only pretended to be retarded

>using reaction pics with every post to valid your opinion
