Hard disk. Never in my life.

Computer parts.

Keyboards, mice, headphones.

When I buy used laptops, I order a replacement keyboard.

Printer cartidge

>buy hard disk
>recover data
>acquire nudes

batteries

What if the seller shows you the S.M.A.R.T. results and it only shows like a month's use?

Thinkpad. Don't want some fat business guy's historical cum stains all over the palm rest and keyboard.

just count the ones you would buy. i can't think of any.

If you don't buy used, you are everything wrong with society today. Just throwaway millenials fucking up the environment.

>try to recover data
>encrypted

You buy used thermal paste?

Most people don't even know what that is.

Power supplies I never buy used, because there is next to no info on how reliable certain models are or what components are used in them, and they can murder all the other components if they have shitty voltage ripple, bad input filtering etc. Otherwise I will buy just about anything used if it is cheap enough.

buy my keyboard pls

just needs a quick clean

Every tech product

all of them?

S.M.A.R.T. can be manipulated with the right tools.

Sure give it a good clean and I'll consider.

>things that has been excessively touched
>anything memory

Non-mechanical keyboards.

I threw up

Anything that has the word "smart" on it

Anything..I don't like used shit

/bread

dragon dildos.

I'd buy a cpu, case and cooler and not worry about it.

>bought a used 4TB HDD
>been running 24/7 for over 3 years

...

Definitely dragon dildos.

you're the second person to throw up on that keyboard

Women.

>He doesn't buy 8GB 10600R DIMMs for pennies per GB.
Shameful.

...

is that what happens when you spunk on your laptop too much?

No it was chocolate milk, but this reminds me of the towel with the cum mushrooms

>cum mushrooms

should i even ask user?

Peripherals, HDD, graphic cards and mobos.

And other stuff like, TVs smartphones, etc.

>tfw bought a chinkpad from a teen qt
Hopefully she squirted all over the keyboard while reading rms's interjections

>psoriasis compatible

Fleshlight

Yes.

Would buy, for my backup sets.
However every time I've looked, it wasn't very interesting, especially since it was a time you got 3-5 years of warranty easy.

I bought a used ps3 for 25 bucks, guy sells xbox primarily and thought the ps3 had a problem with reading disks(he tried with the only game he had), reads everything properly

NSA pls leaf``

Wonder if they are edible

Mororized dildoes

smartphones, laptops, monitors, HDDs, Video Cards, CPU\Case fans, possibly not mobo or ram but I guess it would depend on the circumstance

Anything. I dont want sloppy seconds. And thanks to living in a 1st world country with 1st world wage, I dont have to.

ite. i think thats eniugh internet for day. im out.

Alkaline Batteries

>When I buy used laptops, I order a replacement keyboard.
But you'll use someone elses nasty phone they've gotten their nasty head grease all over? Fucking gross.

>find CP
>suddenly, a knock at your door

>SMART shows under 100 hours powered on time
>has been sitting on a shelf 3+ years

>Monitor from someone who spits while they talk

Women aren't technology yet, but I'd totally buy a used hookerbot and replace the inserts.

So what would you buy used, a case? CPU? Speakers?

Dwayne is love.

Storage media to use myself. Sometimes I buy used shit in bulk to restore potentially interesting stuff.

Batteries period.

I'm surprised that my thinkpad came back alive after being in storage for six years. The lithium battery works well and keeps a good charge.

Fucking virgins is awful, seriously

What is any?

What if you bought a used iPhone and it turned out it was Hitler's lol

I have a 500gb hard drive I bought from ebay for a budget build 4 years ago- still running well.

I remember buying an old PC a long time ago and from the hard drive I could tell the PC belonged to some kid. Had some weird DOS games on it and weird shit.

For any new rig today though I would use a new hdd.

I bought one with caddy in a box from a car boot sale the other day.

I haven't run smart yet but recuva showed about 500mb in backup files

I once bought a hard disk, no enclosure, from a Goodwill surplus store; it was sitting loose in a bin with all kinds of other random shit. If you've never been to one of those stores, it's a few notches above digging through trash.

It worked fine and lasted a couple years. All my torrents and downloads went to that drive before I filed them off to another volume.

Why would I buy used when I can afford new?

Plus getting the added benefit of a warranty and knowing that someone else didn't fuck it up before I got it.

>rechargeable batteries (I replace phone/laptop batteries if I buy those used)
>keyboards (I replace those too)
>headphones/earbuds
>any kind of storage like hdds, ssds, etc. (exception is phones and tablets where the storage is soldered in and usually lasts longer)
>charger bricks/cables
>cases/bags
>anything listed under "for parts not working" on ebay if there are less than 5 pictures/detailed description and they don't accept returns
>ram
>cpus
>gpus
>watches
>docks/speakers

Agreed. It's also stupid to throw away money on new things when the same product is lightly used for 2/3 the price. I bought a 64GB Nexus 6P on ebay for $300. Still had the plastic on it and everything. Just wasn't in the original box.

I do this too. I'll buy a lot of like 15-20 phones or laptops that are listed as damaged or no power for $200-800 and end up with like 5 or 6 working units in the end and double or even triple my money.

I'd rather save my money for something like a nice vacation or just put it away in case I need it down the road. I guess a fool and his dollar are parted easily.

Power supply, hard drive, GPU

Anything made for linux

>bought a used 80GB HDD used for 15 bucks back in 2011
>it never failed

I like buying them used compared to other laptops because you can immediately replace the palm rest and keyboard with zero effort.

The only brand new components in my current build are the monitor and mouse.

I usually buy keyboards new but I'm currently using a Model M.

Disk in question

now that I got a job and hate my life I don't think I'll ever buy a console again

The nice thing about used hard drives is that everyone has porn whether or not they know it.

fans
phones
storage of any kind
mouse and keyboard

I've purchased literally everything used at some point, my rig is 90% Craigslist and thus I put together a ~$1800 system for about $600. Course there are some things I'm not sure of true value, like how much is a Dell UltraSharp 30" 1600p from 2009 worth now? Retailed for $2000 and I bought it for $110.

I do know Craigslist has made me a total Jew when it comes to electronics now. Can't pay retail, and my favorite things are finding rich college kids or businessmen that give away high end stuff for like 10% of retail. God bless em

>bought 80GB and 160GB HDDs for 1€ each
>the seller at the flea market used a simple plastic bag as "protection"
>they work fine, no SMART issues whatsover
I've been using them in spare PCs

it was probably her brother's dude :/

>googled source of this picture
>it's from reddit
>5 pages of really bad mushroom jokes

I will never buy these online:
- laptops
- smartphones

That's fucking stupid since you're supposed to buy used if you want to save money. But with a new battery, palmrest and ssd, you'll be spending more than you would on a Chromebook with better specs, battery life and warranty. Also, your post-IBM chinkpad will not have as good durability as a modern chromebook.

>Also, your post-IBM chinkpad will not have as good durability as a modern chromebook.
Also, you're totally not a chromebook shill, right?

>Also, your post-IBM chinkpad will not have as good durability as a modern chromebook.

That's an outright lie. I'm a chromebook shill, but come the fuck on. Warrenty on a chromebook is a worthless selling point.

The real selling point is how cheap it is to replace parts.

I got a new palm rest and screen for $25 bucks.

After accidentally tossing my chromebook into the milling machine, shit's cheap to repair.

What the fuck.

>cpu
WHY?
It's probably the most durable part ever, I never ever saw a cpu burn, even cpus from like 15 years ago are still working everywhere.

So, you don't have a wireless router?

Apparently they're edible. If consumed with alcohol they produce a horrible hangover.

It depends on how used it is.

>hard disk
>mouse
>keyboard
>headphones
>SD cards

Apple products

>moror
>latin, v. to linger, loiter

who's stupid enough to buy used shit

Vibrator

Phones.
Using an old phone only makes sense if you had it for a long time.

this Also display

Why do you buy them at all?

condoms

onahole

>spending 20x as much for no benefit

the fuckmaster 9000

...

I wouldn't buy used motherboards. Those things are finnicky enough as it is.
