old guts became stale and near limit. time for new guts.

I shoved a lot of shit in this box.
I need help finding one of those PCI things I can stick a SSD in
Not a PCI adapter with sata slots but one where the SSD is connected righ on it
Bonus points for standard PCI, as I have a spare PCI x16 (x4) and one regular PCI
I don't care about speed, just want a little extra storage
Even though there's already 3 WD black 6tb hdd's, a 750 2.5" HDD, and a 120gb SSD on top of the disk drive
That's a frigging old case.
I haven't even powered it on yet to see if it works, I got the newegg shipment this morning and assembled it before going to work
Going to install Windows 8.1 tonight and then start the fun process of installing drivers
Actually, I forgot I did have it powered on, just not with the hdd's or disk drive
I was originally going to go with mint but installing the drivers for the RX460 killed it
Then I bought Windows and it showed up the following morning
Newegg by the way, is fucking great, I'm close enough to Indianapolis that all my stuff shipped with Fedex and arrived within 24 hours of purchase
The SG11b is only from early 2015 (I think)

nice clean looking build, apart from that card sag triggering me
that sag
postan
idk how i feel about that cross bridge
the only thing saggier than that video card is hillary's moral compass
Lemme slide in early, r8/h8
>he fell for the rigid tubing meme
r8 h8
Just liked the look better than the soft tubing.
is milk better for cooling or what?
100%, makes the loop grow big and strong
>he fell for the 'he fell for the X meme' meme
It seems like a huge PITA though. If you want to upgrade/change anything in your PC you have to drain the loop, dismantle it, reassemble, refill and then bleed it. You can't even add an extra card in there, if you wanted to. Can't even change your CPU or some shit, it seems like you're giving up on a lot of flexibility, no pun intended.
The process is not as difficult as most make it out to be. I drained red coolant, ran distilled trough it, drained it again and put white coolant in all within about 2 hours today.
Thoughts? I just put this together today, Did I fuck up?
Are there any good minimalistic solutions to fixing card sag? I've googled around a bit, but everything is either ugly as sin, or really hard to get your hands on.
also sorry for the awful picture quality, it was take on a Surface 3
fishing wire
invisible if you use a thin reel
Ghetto as fuck. But I'll try it out.
Only good thread on g
Why no USB 3.0 cable?
>he fell for the motherboard LED meme
kys
Kill yourself jakob
I never use the front ports
I really hope it's not because of the colour of the cable.
The Cable is black?
I just don't use the front ports, I never have on any builds
Seems like a waste. But whatever. I won't grill you about it.
How? I only use at max 3 USB ports
Not even the same guy, those ports are on every motherboard so how the fuck can they be a waste, when there is no option to not buy them? Just kill yourself and let people build their computers how they prefer.
It's just that it would be so ridiculously easy to get a couple more ports. But your choice. I won't give you shit for it.
Because he has a case with integrated USB 3.0 ports that he hasn't plugged in to the mobo. Fucking fuckface.
Ports that would never be used
What's the best ATX case for $250?
never mind, I miss read. I thought you said your maximum capacity was 3 ports.
Deleting the irrelevant post now.
Ayylmao
What's up gents? Loop is running well. With everything on stock clocks nothing really gets over 55°C.
Gonna try and OC the CPU from 3.0 to 4.0, and the GPU's a bit. Keep everything under 85°C at full load. Do some benchmarks then as well.
>2 gtx 1060
for what
Are those actually fucking 1060s?
11/10
when do you get a new sli bridge?
speccy?
>white fluid
looks so shit
yes only the gtx 1060 has no sli bridge. :^)
cpu reached 72c yesterday, I thought summer was over..
They're for GPGPU...uhh yeah
Nobody is dumb enough to do this.
Yeah, two 1080's.
>tfw CPU never goes above 55C
>tfw GPU always goes above 75C
FUCK!
i ordered a phanteks evolv atx tg silver over a month ago and its still not available. its driving me fukcing insane AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH
he don't need to use them, you fuckface.
wtf does your mobo touch the case or am i blind? shouldn't that cause a shortage??
only kitties belong in cardboard boxes.
cardboard box is a better case anyway
mhm asus strix rice edition for gpgpu.
It's super close. A fuck ton a insulation by electrical tape is what's preventing that lol. Is the "Super 33+" tape though. Much better than the typical "1700" tape. Meant for long lasting applications. We use it in the electindustry a lot on permanent construction.
man i wouldn't do that myself. too much risk involved in such expensive computer lol
It's all grounded. If it shorts it'll either do nothing or cause small issues. I already went through all that, it's okay.

order from somewhere else?? stop being a faggot?
Not referring to you, m9.
its not in stock anywhere retard
This case is horrible for cable management.
I fell for the:
mITX meme
CLC meme
16GB RAM meme
kinda want a tower again though
Get a better (quieter) cooler, other than that it looks good.
...
i can fuck with copper hard tubing.
>Asus X99-E WS
Yay, someone else who has the same piece of shit motherboard I do.
Stopped caring while building, gonna set it up properly when zen/vega arrives.
at least it beats mine
lol right, same thing here.
>copper tubing the way god intended
noice
Cable management just isn't happening in this case so I gave up on it.

Beautiful build.
I slightly hate you.
over $100 on poofans
>piece of shit
Mine's been pretty great. What issues have you had?
If that is idle, that temp is sorta high for a 6700k.
Mine usually doesnt go over 30C, it usually hangs out around 23C, all I have is a shitty aio so its probably no better than your heatsink.
You sure you got the paste on there good?
Whats the constant fecal matter of poo fans?
about 32 splats be minute.
With or without brown noise adapters?
Its cause of the OC and summer temps
ambient is about 26c, 1.290v @ 4.5GHz
asus gaymeng mobos have custom fan curves for each header, so no need.
This is me. I'd it with getting a second 980ti classified for $380? I play at 1440p 60hz.
Oh, I have Corsair meme fans that aren't pwm and forgot that stuff existed.
Is it worth* phone can't into swipe texting when battery saver is on.
asus gaymeng mobos can also make fan curves for DC fans.
Oh yea, I forgot its been hot as fuck. I just assumed everyone but me has airconditioning lol
The pic is @ 4GHZ though, thats stock
Mine is supposed to as well, but doesn't.
Can't hear the shits, so I guess it doesn't matter.
thats before the brown noise adapters.
But if you use those the increase splatter brings in alot of heat, you might want to look into liquid cooling for that. You can have the discharge from the brown noise adapters feed straight into your reservoir if youd like.
I only increased the limit on the turbo multiplier and upped the voltage, so it doesn't show.
kept all of intels power saving stuff and stock vdroop so my room isn't a fucking furnace.
R8/H8
>being this mad
It came with my wrist pad.
Oh nice.
Ignore the question I just deleted, I'm retarded.
Shes quite filled up.
Red and blue led fans?
looking pretty good for a cum loop.
dull, dark and clean. Is that batman?
You dont even know the struggle of humidity senpai.
Nzxt s220? I had that case, better for a home server imho. Lots of drive bays, but no where to hide excess cables. Pic related, my old build.
