What's so shitty about it?
>buy it now, auction, sometimes both
>great buyer protection
>metric buttload of items for sale

>takes a huge cut of the buyer's payment unless you're a powerseller
>buyers rarely leave feedback
>can't filter search results by individual countries
>mobile app getting worse every patch

>takes a huge cut of the buyer's payment unless you're a powerseller
Well it is a business.
>buyers rarely leave feedback
That's in no way eBay's fault.
>can't filter search results by individual countries
You can filter it to your country, don't see why you'd want anything else.
>mobile app getting worse every patch
>not using the website

Fuck off kike scum

This. Mobile version doesn't filter items by price range when I try to set it.

Eat a dick, shitstain.

Why exactly am I repeatedly being called a jew? Is this just a general insult now? I suggest you work on insulting people because you're laughably bad at it.

>Well it is a business.
It used to be lower, that + forced PayPal payment method and its associated fees really makes selling not worth it sometimes.
>That's in no way eBay's fault.
Lack of incentive to leave (positive) feedback.
>You can filter it to your country, don't see why you'd want anything else.
How about when I only want to buy items from Japan or Korea?
>not using the website
How about having the thing actually designed for mobile devices be good?

>How about having the thing actually designed for mobile devices be good?
Having an app for each individual website you browse is beyond retarded. You already have a browser and 9 times out of 10 the website's better than the app.

>Having an app for each individual website you browse is beyond retarded
Mobile apps are supposed to offer a better experience on mobile devices, that's why they exist. And only a handful of websites are worth visiting multiple times a day, eBay being one of them.

>Mobile apps are supposed to offer a better experience on mobile devices
Yet they rarely do.

This. Mobile apps are much more responsive and faster than websites.

Listen to some schloime you mad fuck.

ebay is alright for buyers but anyone that thinks it's a decent site has never had to use it as a seller

I've gotten fucked so many times by buyers and ebay won't do shit, just takes their 7.5% and tells you to fuck off

>tfw a buyer tries feedback extortion

bait and switch advertised products

I use it as a last resort, had to buy a mpcie wireless card and an hdd bay.

Fuck off

It's alright for buyers, maybe less so for sellers, IDK.

Pro tip: make sure you disable the currency conversion in Paypal settings, otherwise they'll rip you off with their scam rates.

>muh mobile app
Why? Do you really need to buy shit while you're not at home?

>Do you really need to buy shit while you're not at home?
Why arbitrarily restrict yourself to only being able to shop in certain places?

>How about when I only want to buy items from Japan or Korea?

Then access the specific country websites.
ebay.co.kr/
ebay.co.jp/

>Cool Water
nigger

Because using a phone for web browsing/shopping will always suck, no matter how good the app or mobile website is.

I'm not that user, but thanks! For whatever reason, I didn't realize this was a thing.

Doesn't mean you can't do it.

The Japanese one is for sellers only it looks like. And the problem with these sites is that they don't automatically filter out sellers that won't post to your country.

Because getting up, turning on your PC and getting to eBay is slower than just picking up your phone and browsing instantly, from your bed for example. It's more convenient, and you don't have to be home to do it. The app is pretty good but lacks some options.

Shipping locations aren't exactly indicative of where the seller can ship. Many times asking the seller if he can ship to a location not marked on the item can make him agree to ship to that location.

More like 10% now.

There are only 2 rules:

If you buy something, always use PayPal.
If you sell something, never use PayPal.
