>windows 10 on new comp >legacy boot already enabled >secure boot already disabled >not showing option to boot from usb in advanced boot options menu >windows 10 refuses to get the fuck off my computer
>not showing option to boot from usb in advanced boot options menu That is UEFI and not windows fuck Kill yourself faggot.
Aiden Lopez
>i'm too retarded to know how to boot off USB >its Microsoft's fault rtfm
Jaxon Lee
windows ME was way less advanced. windows 10 is actually capable of loading complicated long .gif files, atleast. it also has a better sound handling system.
Jace Barnes
It's in the update section of the settings.
Can't change the boot options in the bios either. Lets me choose my 2 drives and that's it.
Hudson Harris
>i dont know how to make a bootable usb disk >it is microsofts fault you keep digging the hole you're in deeper
John Butler
Maybe I am. Google, no matter what I type, brings up the same 10 links showing me how to get to advanced boot settings.
What the fuck do I do?

Just get a mac already and then you can just blame yourself of course ;)
Nolan Nelson
I already have a bootable usb. Same one I used to install windows 7 on a laptop with Win 8. It works.
I just can't figure out how to do it in win 10 and can't find anything on google besides "how to boot win 10 from a usb" and "how to enter advanced boot options in win 10"
Wyatt Long
>I cant figure out how to boot off USB on my PC >I too retarded to understand what keywords are >And i'm too lazy to read the manual to my computer >Sup Forums plz halp kill yourself
Jayden Wood
You forgot the part where he blames Windows
Carson Ramirez
>being retarded A lot of newer laptops running Windows 10 have made it impossible to boot from a USB because of the BIOS, it's not OP being retarded.
Jonathan Cruz
>I couldnt figure out how to change my bios settings either >OP dindu nuffin wrong
Thomas Lewis
It's a custom. It didn't come with a manual.
My boot options are my disc drive and my ssd. Secure boot is disabled. What am I doing wrong?
Or do you just not actually know what you're talking about?
Gavin Martin
>my shitty white box is "custom" >i dont know which part of it i should read the manual for kill yourself
Luis Foster
Ok, so you don't know. Got it.
Isaiah Campbell
Who can say? Maybe you need to put it into setup mode, maybe you need to add usb to your boot options.
Maybe you are too fucking retarded to operate a BIOS?
Jack Thomas
>implying I'm not a complete retard, it's literally two settings you have to change. The problem is not many people talk about it, or mention it.
>you dont know how to do it >even though you have a desktop which costs more than my moms car
>made it impossible to boot from a USB because >I'm not a complete retard, it's literally two settings you have to change You are a complete retard if you dont understand what the word impossible means.
Jackson Peterson
There is no USB boot option in the bios.
David Scott
Should be an efi setup mode that disables efi boot verification, then you can boot from usb.
If that doesn't work you probably need to enable legacy boot or uh... i forget what its called some compatibility mode. CSM?
Gavin Barnes
>taking everything literally >using Windows 10 Literal short bus tier
Anthony Williams
This. You need to make the USB UEFI boot compatible or enable CSM, disable fastboot, and secure boot. You can use Rufus to make a UEFI compatible boot device.
Asher Martin
It runs ESXi now that I figured out how to get Nvidia drivers to load in a VM
Brayden Cruz
I disabled fastboot and secureboot and changed any options that were UEFI to Legacy (CSM, in other words). Restarted and went back to the BIOS.
Only thing that changed is that now I have a 3rd boot option: Qualcomm Atheros.
Fucking lol windows 10.
Nolan Nguyen
>utorrent >Sup Forums Wow you really are a fucking loser
Asher Parker
rage more shitskin
Carson Bailey
Dunno then, use Rufus and change it to uefi. Alternatively, burn it to a dvd.
Bentley Scott
I had the same problem trying to uninstall Windows 10 All the google searches showed options that werent there if that makes sense
After restarting a bunch a times it finally picked up the windows 8.1 disk
Xavier Hughes
>windows 10 hardware failure >unrecoverable sectors, struggles to boot >can't boot into safe mode unless windows 10 thinks it started up incorrectly 3x >cant start safe mode to minimize program loading from hard drive who the fuck thinks that is ever a good idea? seriously.
Kevin Smith
>start computer >hit f-key that corresponds to boot menu
i can't tell if you're trolling or retarded
Evan Edwards
What motherboard do you have?
Austin Flores
Not him but devices that don't use uefi literally won't show up in the boot menu. Most programs you use to make a bootable flash drive use csm,
Benjamin Murphy
Bios gives no option to boot from usb. Even when on legacy only. Read the thread, user.

that's pretty gay my HP desktop from '09 that I have lets me boot off USB so idk
Cameron Bailey
First microsoft made everyone to use their shitty anticompetitive measure/backdoor in the name of "security" and then they leaked the fucking keys: rol.im/securegoldenkeyboot/
Brody Cooper
Found the option buried in a different boot menu. That was unnecessarily fun.
Samuel Garcia
Thanks for your help, btw. Sorry for shitting up the board with shit.
