Here's the thing: Unless apple wants to make a cheap chink phone, there isn't going to be an awful iPhone. You can make any phone an android, so it's easier to make a piece of garbage android and use it as a scapegoat to say all androids are bad. Also, Samsung hardware may not be that bad (except for note 7) but the software they put on top of it is utter shit .

There's no denying that Android flagships are powerful, they have to be to make those displays shift pixels and also run Android which barely has any optimization. Its the Windows vs Mac shit just gone to mobile. Apple gets away with lesser specs due to heavy optimization. Android is the problem, not the actual devices.

I actually like the idea of put almost everything into a portable device. Not as a phone but as a device that can do anything anywhere. Obviously the useless things like the floppy drive, punchcard reader, cassette slot should be replaced with something else.

Bough and S7, was laggy, crashed a lot and bloated with shit software. Android apps sucked compared to the Apple versions, and having 4 emails programs, 6 music players, 3 texting apps etc. is gay as fuck.

So I went back to me iphone 4s and sold the samshit.

My dad got a Iphone 6 from his work. I tried it for a bit, my Nexus 5 is far superior.
Even my friend who was shit deep into applels rectum now uses android, got himself one of those one plus phones.

For every generation of IPhones you'll find better android phones that are at least 300-400 dollarydoos cheaper.

I develop for both platforms as well as desktop & web. Android works across hardware, which means all screens are not going to detect pressure the exact same way, which causes the "jabby" feeling.

I probably will not get a iPhone 7 for non-development use. The removal of the 3.5mm jack probably wasn't the biggest disappointment about it.
