Also, check out pcpartpicker.com. It's a great website that lets you create a PC build and it will tell you the prices of everything also. You can refer to logicalincrements or r/buildapc if you want some help in picking your parts.

considering I just spent $1000 on a Skylake 6600K rig with twice the RAM and a better vidya card, this is a terrible deal and you can tell your buddy boy to go fuck himself unless he is willing to go down to $500 or less.
