Yup, watching it on the desktop though cause 1440p is sexy compared to 720p, and the T420 doesn't have the GPU power to run the MadVR settings I like to use for upscaling.

Damn, I loved that mouse, but I had to to replace it like 3 times and eventually the battery got so bad I could only get like 8ish hours out of it. It also started tracking erratically by the end. Luck of the draw I guess...

It all depends on distance between the base and mouse. This has the biggest impact on battery life.
Plus, early parties of this model had a problematic battery that was wearing too quickly.
If it breaks one day I'll get the same model...

They are intended for office work etc where matte screens are desirable.
Best to connect them to an external monitor at home. There's little point in using any notebook screen unless you have to.

Funny that the t420 looks well built except for the fan vent, which is very fragile and can break with very little force. The trackpad is also of poor quality. It doesn't take very long for the plastic film on it to flake off like dandruff.
I have a desktop when I'm working at home so that's no use to me.
