>autism laces

Of course. It takes the average person 6-8 seconds to tie their shoe. Imagine doing that thousands and thousands of times over the course of a lifetime. It's a fucking waste

>nigger laces

it's the only closure I let my mom buy me.
Even have them on my cargo shorts.

Ok, now imagine how many hours, days, weeks of your life you're spending shitposting on Sup Forums.

I'm neither nine nor ninety, so no.

what's your point?

My point is that nobody cares about wasted time.

I do. For example, I won't waste any more time responding to your inane posts. Have fun tying your laces for the rest of eternity

>tying your shoes
>not just taking them off while tied

This

Yes but the laces still come apart after a while. You know this. Velcro laces never do that

If they come apart you're doing something wrong.

Enjoy having to buy a new pair of shoes when all of the Velcro hooks break.

You don't have to replace laces.

Objectively speaking this > laces.

Yet why does it have such a stigma against it. Is it because it doesn't look cool?

Can't they make shoes with these that look cool?

If you tie them in a way that keeps them from coming apart, it's too hard to readjust them in the event that they're too tight. Then you have to un-do them and it's a big hassle. Velcro laces flex with your foot and are optimal for this.

You only have to tie them once. Once you've finished you leave them as-is until it's time for new shoes.

got you covered friend, hope you love it

>Can't they make shoes with these that look cool?

>implying

this is a classic

this desu

shoes are proprietary i only wear leaves

I use slip-ons on casual occasions but I have laces for formal and warm shoes.

"Magic tape" wears too fast so it rapidly becomes ineffective

Totally. Check out piano man's shoes @ 1:15 or so

I tried a slip-on at a store once and it was surprisingly comfortable, I then understood why people like them

I didn't buy it though, because the thought of getting into a physical confrontation or other random scenario would suck while wearing them

>have to run from something, or defend self
>shoes fall off

Lol no. That shit breaks over time.
Another cool thing is that a lace is just a string. Laces are modular.

also dont more people do this to save time

>>have to run from something, or defend self
>>shoes fall off

My nigga. That's why from now I'm only using high top shoes.

>not standing your ground and punching the shit out of any trouble
Fucking fatasses, get fucking fit and wreck shit!

>have to run from something
>shoelace unlaces and fells.

I remember reading that European scum thugs wore running tracks and sport shoes to facilitate an unexpected run away from the police.

For real though, if your slipons attach your heels well, it should be OK.
Else you can get one of those Adidas Kanye West pair of shoes that looks like a bastard son of a sock.
If you do so, be prepared to look like a basic Korean tourist.

I know about the jog/track suits, the slavs in russia favor them.

but aren't sport shoes laced?

There are way to many laces in that picture. I just use one string per shoe because I'm simple and don't want to deal with thousands of 2mm long laces.

Yeah, most of them are.
My best running shoes pair have laces.
But I also have an older pair with Velcro and it was decent. I liked this way of "locking" the shoe better than laces to be honest.

And imagine how much more time you'll save by never having sex!

>go to local pizzeria
>sign says "no shoes no service"
>tfw the botnet wants me to starve

Yes

Just make some homemade flip flops out of trash.

My chink shit order came with a velcro freebie and it proved to be super useful. I feel weird for wanting to go out of my way to order a batch of a dozen velcro straps now.

I use the Ian knot.

>using proprietary fasteners

Enjoy being kidnapped and not be able to escape because you're using fucking velcro instead of laces.

>wasting an accumulative day or two of your life messing with velcro

Not all of us live in a favela with shared internet, pablo.

This is the Topre of velcro shoes

>Sup Forums - /fa/

Zippers are superior

>Sup Forums neets dont know how to tie a shoe properly

hells yeah, Imagine how fast you could run in those badboys

It's not that I cant, I just cant bend down that far

>Not leaving your regular laces permanently tied and using a shoehorn

I've had plenty of velcro becoming useless after repeated use, those hookes are not forever.
My shoestring have always remaind fine, leaving my shoes tied. The shoe itself generally starts to fall apart after a few years of use though.

Flip flops have issues as the holder breaks apart quickly if you use it daily.

I can tell because I've used plenty of different flip flops daily.

Truly the real technology that needs to be embraced in shoe making world.

What's the point of they are already loose enough that they can come off

They are loose enough to walk out of it when you want
They are tight enough no not walk out of it on accident

Wtf I never got thought the left side

My work environment has no time for strings, velcro or latches.

Only shoes I ever tie or untie are my chuck taylors but I'm getting too old to pull that shit off

any shoe that's not a high top can function like slippers if you don't have fat feet, but I admit Velcro shoes are badass and I honestly might buy a pair next time I'm drunk online shopping

sounds like you're poor

You sound like an intelligent man, what is your logic behind such a claim?

>he doesn't know the trick to tie shoelaces in one second

Stop tying granny knots.

No. I use laces. Velcro looks autistic, sounds autistic, and wil get you treated and obtain the same levels of respect as an autist.

I take my shoes off and put them on with them tied still. Its not an issue. It does not wear the life of the shoe out faster. The sides blow out before the laces or backs.

>weaks
lightweight.

This guy gets it.

No they dont.

Good point, not wasting time on laces means more time for leisure.

>he doesnt wear slip ons

Chelsea boots

Holy shit no. I got some good bike gloves, and i mean good ones. The velcro was the really ordered good kind. 6 months and all that stick was gone, the rain probably didn't help though. My laces have got caught in my broken chain guard a couple of times and been sliced, which is a problem also. I'm thinking of buying some kevlar laces, but all the ones online are boot length, so will get caught in my chain even more.
I think I'll just cover my feet with spray-on rubber.

he needs to fasten his shoes

Not using superior quicklace™ system

shoes with velcro look ugly, also barely ever have to tie my laces so vOv

Hiking shoes everywhere and always

that's why i'll become wizard in 10 years

me too

Those are the surefire way to spot a turbo autist in my country, kek

what's autistic in these boots, it looks like normal sport boots

My next kicks will be rip rips. I hate being a conformist.

They are durable and comfortable.
Your argument?

that's the surefire way to spot a turbo autist in any place

how to you actually get this wrong?

>t. SJW liberal arts student

More likely an Australian farmer.
