Hi can I has identification of this motherboard please?

Hi can I has identification of this motherboard please?

Is that a fucking AGP slot

Yes.

OP here. Just spent 500 dollars on this rig for Skyrim at high. How bad did I fuck up, Sup Forums?

>No heatsink, no GPU, no ram, pentium 4. Might wanna get your 500$ back bro

Tell it to me straight, how much should I have spent, Jack?

>pentium in cpu slot
>old intel logo off to the right

dam son

600 and built your own

Please tell my you're trolling.. Or you paid 500 moon dollars that have no value in first world markets.

$10

Look up the serial numbers, dummy.

It's an ancient Dell motherboard. Look,it has PS/2 ports and a parallel port !

Op here again, I meant to post this on Sup Forums, can a mod please move it?

looks like a 965 board from a dimension 3000.
you might play morrowind at 640x480 but keep a fire extinguisher handy

Not guna play anything on it with those leaking capacitors.

Some proprietary Dell board, since it has 5 expansion slots and might not even be a standard power connector.

>>Can a mod please move it?
Oh boy, you from Mars?

is that a blown capacitor below the (to the left of) cpu socket?

>Tell it to me straight, how much should I have spent, Jack?

anywhere from $30-100 but the value is only derived from what people will pay for barely retro old hardware, people give these old rigs away for free most of the time

Well, OP, from 1-10, I'd say you fucked up at a good 14.2. I'd recommend trying to get your money back from Ebay and going to newegg.com

Yes. Old Dell boards suffered from capacitor plague

$0

this thing is literal garbage

Even I have a couple of old Dells, I like to run retro hardware at fast speeds thanks to moore's law.

$500 and not even ram or a cpu cooler?

>I like to run retro hardware at fast speeds thanks to moore's law.

that's pretty much the only reason people tend to buy them, you'll notice that good machines that can run dos properly (and not win95/98) are ridiculously expensive because of all the people wanting to relive that era on decent hardware

Sup Forums in a nutshell.
I hope your Razer kayboard keyboard is compatible with that thing.

They can move it to

that's some entry-level trolling

I have a 486 machine laying around somewhere, do you mean that it would be worth something by now?

It starts with

"DP/N CN-?????"

It is the Dell REV A02 Motherboard.

That's worth maybe $30

Clamshell dells with blown caps are pretty awesome.

>Obviously not OP
>All these responses
>Wait, THIS is a response
>Goddamn it, end my life.

I think you need a new capacitor.

>Tell it to me straight, how much should I have spent, Jack?
Nothing, that should be free as in price friend.

Upclose picture of the capacitors. Looks fine to me, don't see what you are talking about.

...

Opinions on case in general? I think it's actually pretty sweet myself, this vintage stuff actually looking mighty crispy.
Thanks based user.

0/10

Hide and sage!

>Opinions on case in general?
Take a picture that actually shows the front. Goddamn

nice willamette chip

>I have a 486 machine laying around somewhere, do you mean that it would be worth something by now?
Maybe $50-$70 if it's a really nice piece in good shape that isn't yellowed/dirty/bezel-mismatched as shit

But you can still pick them up for next to nothing if you know where to look locally, that guy probably took the eBay scalpers seriously.

It's a motherboard
Did I help?

Post it in the orientation most people see it from you stupid fuck

Some of them have lost their magic smoke.

You wiped the poopy off one and took a picture. What is your problem?

Looks like an Optiplex 260.

You got raped. Not just ripped off, straight raped. That computer is worth $20 tops.

It's a Dell Dimension 4550. Damn kiddies don't know older hardware for shit.

The only ones I've seen open sideways like that were the Optiplex series.
