We're job creators fighting back against the automation Jew.

read this, it explains the basic reasons

Don't want to go to jail for sexual perversion, obviously.

>homosexuality decriminalization
>society progress

Because I break the law and post about it on Sup Forums :^)

tl;dr pedos on Sup Forums wanna download CP without getting caught

Hello CIA shill

Good lord, fuck right off back to Sup Forums.
I don't even give a shit if this is bait, nobody gives a shit.

>False equivalence

It's the nsa and fbi who concern me. They dig for dirt, not just criminal stuff.

>they think they are epic fighters of justice for the common man
>they just don't want the NSA to see their terabytes of lolicon

Oh, fuck off already.

(You)

the truth hurts don't it user

You are right. Why the fuck should I pledge allegiance to the US law? I'm not even their citizen.
So fuck off with your burgerland spyware

I wonder who could be behind this post?

I can't wait until the shit REALLY hits the fan. I think Snowden bought us some time...but this whole thing will be a mess of historic portions. A new world divided between the sheep that require technology to function and the wolves that abandon it to fight, or control it to feed off the sheep. An epic battle is on the horizon. Can't wait to see it.

Privacy is not secrecy and secrecy is not intelligence.

You can ask who guards the guards themselves. With regard to the four points on We're embedded with a prerequisite for survival which is adaptation, in other words "evolve or die".

A culture of fear is an assumption of a nefarious intention when the core function of information is factual, devoid of interpretation.

The assimiliation of progress and law is a fallacious assumption of law, upholding an ethical communitarian standard which restricts the growth of individual freedom.

Privacy as a basic human need doesn't hold ground when you equate need with a veil of secrecy appealing to your diversity in humanity.

Basically, privacy is overthought and hedged under protective reasons when you're clouding masks for their own sake without the need for a cloud of secrecy. Also the statement of "read this it explains the basic reasons", actually does not explain anything in a culture of parrot copy pasted reasoning instead of shaping your own thought. I'm all for privacy, just a thought.

2edgy4me

Maybe because they violate US copyright law daily, and in some courts and without a good lawyer, obscenity law as well?

The CIA and NSA aren't doing the bulk of the watching anyways. IP holders and their friends are.

Go to uni and learn to compose coherent thoughts. Self education hasn't been working for you, oh lord of fragmented, vaporous, return key abusing bullshit.

>I'M SILLY

WHEN YOU FUCK WITH THE BIG BOYS THEY'LL FIND SOME DIRT ON YA AND YOU GET FUCKED!
NOBODY IS CONSTANTLY WATCHING YOUR PONYFAPPING HABITS YA DINGUS/MORON(THAT WOULD BE TORTURE)!

We can tell you're 12.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

THIS THIS THIS!!!

You people are all to young to remember J Edgar Hoover. This man had a file on just about everyone and would frequently blackmail people.

With today's technology it's possible to have a file on literally single person. Imagine if every single thing you said on Sup Forums was logged and saved for all eternity. You might say something today, like disagreeing with government's surveillance policy, that gets saved for decades and makes you automatically red flagged as the enemy of some powerful person. They could use their power to keep you from receiving promotions or just ruin your life if they felt like it. It literally destroys the foundation of free speech and is the greatest threat to America right now. That's right, it's a bigger threat than a half dozen pedos!!

It's not really paranoia, at least for me. I just like privacy. Its the same reason why I don't like people looking at my screen over my shoulder. Yeah, most of us have nothing to hide that is true. Yet, I gurantee all of have blinds on our windows in our homes, we have nothing to hide so why do we cover our windows ? Because we like privacy. I don't want people looking into my house and seeing what im doing and I dont want people looking in my computer and seeing what im doing. Plain and simple.

I've seen plenty of neighbors that don't have curtains and at night can see in and see everything, some people really just don't care or "le have nothing to hide", not a good analogy there.

some people are exhibitionists too

It's the NSA get it right

Gosh

>people are stupid so i have to be stupid too

Fine, locking doors? Shielding your phone away from peering eyes? Covering a piece of paper when writing something? This analogy can be applied to many examples. And it may not be everyone user but the vast majority do.

(you)

Wake up sheeple

What the fuck are you hiding?

Read the book 1984, or atleast watch the movie.
The movie was made to resemble soviet Russia.

>I've seen plenty of neighbors that don't have curtains and at night can see in and see everything,

Are your neighbors aware they have a creep sitting outside their home watching them through the windows at night?

That's the point, unless it's illegal he doesn't have to say whatever it is that he is hidding, privacy is a basic right that people can use as they please as long as it doesn't violate laws.

Well, I lock the door when I go into the bathroom, or when I sleep at night in my dorm room. I cover my paper when writing sensitive information down or taking a quiz and the douche next to me hasn't been to class in 3 weeks. I lean my phone away from people who I notice peering over trying to see what im looking at because I find it rude. If you dont want to lock the door when you go to the bathroom or shield sensitive information then be my guest. You do you man.

>unless it's illegal he doesn't have to say whatever it is

5th amendment. Even if it's illegal he doesn't and shouldn't say anything.

Indeed, forgot about your 5th Amendment.

Why is that any time someone posts anything here that goes against the grain you always get these snarky, condescending, short comments. Is this some kind of shill tactic by shill bots to dismiss something that could hurt them?

SAGE

It's the dude who calls everyone an encryptard! Please take a moment to notice the growth in this shills shilling. Instead of calling everyone amd encryptard in the first post, op (or as i like to call him, Jesse mcbathsalts faggotpants) has restrained and instead used the term nerd. Let's all clap for op, the sensitivity training is working, you are one of our most valuable shills.

Wow you're the only one here that is truly woke.

Can I come to your sweet 16, or does your mom not allow girls?

I hate CIA niggers.

>sexual perversion
what the fuck is non-sexual perversion then?

>Imagine if every single thing you said on Sup Forums was logged and saved for all eternity

>textiles.com

Shit.
textfiles.com

Most of us have government secrets pulled off the dark net. Some have cheese pizza.

t. pedos

Well written 12 year old

>invade privacy
>no big deal it's just cake xd why no paranoid we should lock you up psycho
Clash of shit eating ideology with independence

Tell that to the guy planning a camping trip who looked at backpacks and pressure cookers after Boston

If you check out the desktop threads you'd see something like 70-80% of the board has loli/etc. on their computers.

they live in a hollywood fantasy land and think they're all super secret political activists

or they're simply holier-than-thou dullards trying to look important and "moral" on the internet

My yellow cake recipes aren't safe anymore

I'm a paranoid schizo. When I'm off my meds, I literally believe all of those things. People are watching me, tapping my phone, spying on me, maybe even gleaning some of the thoughts inside my brain. And no matter how much I know this isn't actually the case, it's still something I can't shake. Logic can't beat it at all. It drives me completely insane.

>Big brother is a good thing

Why do you want me to buy cloth?

People are retarded.
>Surveillance will end the world! Hitler!
Hitler would not have been able to establish a dictatorship if Twitter, Snapchat, Periscope et al existed back then. You'd have video proof of the Richstag fire being a false flag. You'd have viral videos of Jews being taken away, streamed in real time.

The only downside of social media is that once you make a mistake, it's stored forever. And some people, like the autists here, make a lot of mistakes.

I'm mostly paranoid about Microsoft or CIA getting hacked by criminals.

Once your personal data is on some server who knows what will happen to it.....

"Look guys! I said it! I am so cool"

Pls fuck off.

and your point is you mindless piece of shit?

I can see how this is going to play out in the future
>No Frank, i dont feel comfortable wearing neuroenhancer.
>bu-but if you dont have bad thoughts you dont have to worry about the mind police.

Go eat a patty with shreded glass in it you fucking dope.

Now can you please rewrite that into some coherent chain of thoughts?

Most people here collect CP, you didn't know?
Why else would they care about monitoring their torrenting?

thanks for starting this thread. I'll explain:

the pic itself doesn't show how these people can/could also:
- read your emails (see wikileaks, for example)
- read and store bank/credit card/paypal transactions
- track the stuff you buy (see the case of the NSA intercepting computer hardware bought by individuals and companies)
- learn what you like/dislike (as in politics, porn, etc., etc)
- intercept and literally "hack" malware for use in DDoS attacks / infiltration / etc
and so on. these things are related to one each other (for example, malware can intercept connections to banking websites and email accounts, which the NSA can intercept and steal the data, etc..)

Fuck off cianigger

what do you have to hide if you arent doing something illegal, huh?

OK, made me chuckle.
Have your "(you)".

Why _THE_FUCK_ would brazil care about the CIA? That makes no SENSE!!1!

Can I post your mom's nudes?

It's not like she has something to hide, does she?

When building their surveillance state the Stasi were limited by manpower. Eventually they were unable to manage the sheer volume of data they collected.

Nowadays with computer databases and algorithms and AIs there's practically no limit to how bad things can get.

this is drivel

To me, it's less about the application of mined data (interest tracking, personal information storage), but the concept of freedom that these application encroach on.

If you are truly free, in my mind, you are free of agencies reading all of your data for profit and intelligence, you are a citizen that has the freedom to retain information that you do not wish to give. Some may argue that "you give your data willingly, you agree to user agreements, you basically sign contracts regarding your privacy", but most people are too ignorant to realize that they are being tracked and watched by federal and private agencies. Originally I thought that if you have nothing to hide, why worry? But again it isn't the use of the data, or how that effects you physically, but the principal that you deserve to conduct your business in private.

CIA niggers want to piggyback off of Microsoft faggots' marketing data to sell me big government.

Who knew the Rev. Al Sharpton posts on Sup Forums?

What's so "secret" about my "secret recipe" when CIA niggers know what it is??

False.

I'm immoral and I need to protect any potentially incriminating information.

Post your browser history, please. I'm sure you have *nothing to hide*.

Why are you so fucking mentally retarded? We're you born with down syndrome or do you just literally have shit for brains?

You seem disproportionately emotionally invested for such a trivial comment.

Do you honestly think the govt gives a shit if you jerk it to anime all day and cyberbully kids on social media sites like the average Sup Forums user would?

Theyre looking for bigtime criminals and CP hoarders, you really dont have much to hide. They probably dont even give a shit about piracy if you arent the owner of a tracker

Laws don't need to be broken in a democratic society to make progress. I fully agree with keeping government on a leash though.

>Do you honestly think the govt gives a shit if you jerk it to anime all day and cyberbully kids on social media sites like the average Sup Forums user would?
They obviously do, or they wouldn't be spending significant amounts of money on doing it, while doing everything possible to deny or retroactively legalise their actions.

...

Yes.

They do.

I can already do that without having to worry about getting v&, I still wants some privacy

Pedos, nothing to hide, whatever, are not good arguements. Please, gtfo this board.

Why are you so paranoid about other people choosing privacy?

/board

So you have something to hide? Can't wait when you end up in jail faggot.

>I've never heard of identity theft
>no one has ever had their emails stolen and used against them

I can't believe that there are people in this anonymous board that unironically think it's okay to live in a surveillance state.
A few weeks ago there was an article about how police officers in the US used their job database to find information for personal purposes. Now imagine letting whoever works for the government know about everything you do.
If they had such power, if they knew who you vote for, in what you believe, and they wanted to stay in power, what would stop them from getting rid of you for voting "in the wrong candidate", or in believing something not "state-approved", whatever that means for who's at power?
You fuckers shouldn't say mass surveillance is okay NOT EVEN AS A JOKE.

>This level of paranoia and autism
>theyre coming for our animu porn!!!

>They might use it for bad things against us! Nevermind that they have much worse shit to worry about and theyd have to sift throught petabytes of data just to find out I watch tranny porn!

Cant you guys give a single argument without sounding like Terry A Davis?

People With Heads up Their Ass: The thread

Next time you go to a doctor or god forbid an attorney make sure to tell them to make everything you've talked about public because you obviously have nothing to hide.

To all who don't give a fuck about privacy, a basic human right, post your credit card information, passwords, etc. on this thread. Because apparently you have nothing to hide right?

Perversion of justice

But that info is being handled by the government, not random autists on the internet, plus its like petabytes of fucking data, nobody's gonna sift through it just to get your shit and anyone that tries will get swatted within seconds.
