I had this problem on Windows 8.1 on a brand-new out-of-the box laptop.
Google couldn't fix it.
It did not go away.

5 of my favorite 8 PC games have native Gnu/Linux versions, the remaining 3 work perfectly in Wine. Since I'm not a faggot who likes to play current gen AAA titles, I never had any issues with gaymes.

It's a hardware issue, not software.
It's because USB3 interferes with the 2.4Ghz radio signals.
It might be a problem with all USB3 adapters.
But only on Apple are you forced to use adapters.
