What precautions (if any) do you guys take to remain anonymous online?

never post with a tripcode
never enter your email address

I protected with Avast and Malwarebytes.

I browse in incognito mode. Bullet proof.

Hide in plain sight

>not posting on Sup Forums would be a good start
>thinking proxies and VPNs and Tor can save or protect you
>stupid fucking people will be the death of us all

Use this method of creating a strong password

world.std.com/~reinhold/diceware.html

I use my own VPN

I don't actually care if anyone manages to track what I do as they wouldn't find anything interesting but I like to do it out of principle and as a learning exercise.

this

>trust gewlel captcha xD

no images, no js, no cookies, block all third party requests. There is no reason Jewgle should get it for free. Those fucks ruined the internet.

On rare occasion, and only for certain sites or shitposting, allow images, js or cookies.

I don't do anything to protect my IP really, I'd say safest best bet would be wearing a ski-mask.

be a big guy

>having a non-removable camera on your shitposting machine
why though?

I just don't have anything to hide :^)

What?

Install systemd

The ski-mask was a joke.
>protect IP
>ski-mask
...

To protect your IP you'd go to a public wifi in the next state over and use Tor.

I run most of my browsing through a VPN. (principal exception: Sup Forums) I run UBO and uMatrix and try to allow as little JS as possible. I run self-destructing cookies; third-party cookies are denied, first-party cookies (and DOM storage) are cleared when the tab is closed. I don't have flash or java installed. I spoof my user agent (it resets do a different one every ten minutes) and block the HTTP referrer. I don't use any Google services. I use OpenNIC DNS servers. I flashed CM on my phone to remove gapps, and got in the habit of leaving it at home whenever I can and using it like a landline. I keep separate email addresses for most of my online accounts. Everything has a different and strong password, stored in a (local, not cloud) password manager. I run HTTPS everywhere. I have telemetry and phone-home features disabled in everything I use, and I manually disable things like WebRTC in my browser(s).

I want to do more but I think I'm close to the limit of what I can achieve and still browse the sites I want to visit. 2bh I try much harder to defend against ad companies than three-letter agencies. Both for practicality and because the NSA would sure rather send Google an NSL and copy all the stuff they record than have to do it themselves.

even if they don't provide 100% guaranteed protection, it's still very much worth using them because they make passive dragnet surveillance so much more difficult. You can't monitor a million people at once with targeted attacks.

ah, please excuse my autism.

never log in to more than one service on a single IP?

All it takes is a few fuck ups and all your accounts are perma linked. Log in to anything anywhere and you're the same person everywhere.

The trail never goes cold on the internet...

Stretch a rubber over your phone. You'll be solid.

I browse the net on live usb only. Pretty comfy.

This

That's why I deleted my YouTube/Google plus account once they merged.

wear a ski mask when you fap to cheese pizza OP

what the fuck

I never include both my face and dick in the same photo.

I don't go online. I wrote a small AI script that does the browsing for me

This. Everything in this post is correct, from the add-ons suggestions to the second paragraph.

You don't NEED to make surveillance impossible. Just make it much harder.
I once saw an article about making surveillance expensive again, and its the best way to defend yourself while maintaining functional web browsing. Plus, setups like this user's are easy to reproduce for tech-illiterate (except for VPN and uMatrix).

Don't use smartphones, only prepaid. Change them once in a while or use differnt ones at the same time.

Only use public WiFis (i.e. caffees) where ou can easiyl get the login, but beware of the cameras. Better to place a repeater somewhere nearby (for example a tree) and sit somewhere where you are hidden from sight.

Sell your laptop and buy a new one every few weeks. Doesn't have to be new or good. Install OpenArch or Tails, completely vitualization everywhere. Never put any real name into anything. Never use a valid email adress, communicate only via 10 throwaway mail adresses.

Change your appearence every now and then. Dont' have any friends or family, break up with relatives.

Change locations every few months. Try to become citizen of at least two countries who don't have good realtions, so if they are gonna come after you, you can try to escape to the embassy of the other country.

It's not perfect, but I'm tryin..

>OpenArch

Sorry, meant "BlackArch"

>being connected to the internet
>being anonymous
thou hast picked more than twas allotted.

As paranoid as this sounds, it's actually probably the only real solution to what they can already do to find you.

>google ruined the internet

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

try smartphones

Sup Forums, recommend me a mini PC for a dedicated Tails machine.
>i386 or x86_64
>at least 2GB RAM, but preferably 4GB
>no internal storage (HDD/SSD/whatever)
>(micro)SD slot + option to boot off an SD card
>HDMI output

Is there some non-ARM equivalent to a raspberry pi?
Or should I just buy a thinkpad, take out the storage, and use that?

Your second tip only works with places that have their wifi password posted online (and you save them ahead of time). Otherwise, you will be caught on camera asking for the password at XYZ time and are easily traced.

Third tip only works with cash or bc.

Pretty good tips tho 2bh

I use the predictably boring approach.
I keep my phone on me, no vpn, windowns doing daily tasks.
but I rarely use anything but disposable email addresses, and if i feel the need to up my anonymity i leave the phone at home and use arch like any anonymity master would

You cannot be this stupid and still be able to breathe..

>online
>anonymous
only by using someone elses internet connection.

>remain anonymous online

nothing because i'm not a cp watching animexican faggot

I don't give a fuck anymore. It's too much effort to try and hide when I have nothing to even hide. I'm a white male Sup Forums shitposter and I don't hide that fact with friends and family. If they don't like my opinions, I don't give a fuck. I've dropped many family members because they can't stand my racism and I don't give one fuck what they think. I don't need them in my life.

i dont mind who track me as long my history is not public.

desu i wouldnt like if someone find out that i watch trap/roleplay/familystroke/sislovesme/stepsibilingscough porn :(

To be fair, you can ask a waiter for the wifi password and return some days later.

I don't do anything personal on a PC, this is one of the reasons I like Sup Forums, it doesn't require you to register to use it.
