Is there any reason to go for the 1060 over the 1050 Ti?

I mean, really. What's the point?

10 more fashion units clearly.

it's better?

Is the 1050 a 950 rebrand??

>playing video games
lmao

Is there any reason to go for any of those over the RX470

Close enough. the Ti being 960 equivalent.

Must be mostly goyworks titles

Might as well be a rebrand with the near identical performance

(you)

What other reason would there be for owning a discrete graphics card? Only a retard would use anything more than an iGPU if they didn't play childish games.

Just a mad gnufag

Over the 3GB? Nothing

Over the 6GB? Alot of things.

Speaking of computer parts,

I'm just about to reach into the sacred halls of the PC master race, and I can't really choose between i5 6600k and i7 6700k.

I've been told always err on the side of more power, but I don't know if it's that much of a difference. Thoughts?

buy rx 480 instead

What graphics card? You'll see better performance in most everything with the i5 and a more expensive card than you would the i7 with a cheaper card.

I got one to learn deep learning principles, and don't game at all, but I'm definitely in the minority in that regard.

Or to put it another way, almost no title in any configuration will be limited to

Yes, the 5 gets changed with a 6, one number higher! Also, it drops the 2 unnecessary letters at the end!

Well, was thinking about the GTX 1060, and I don't just need the CPU for gaming but for
Bluray anime encoding.

Is the i7 still not really worth it in that case?

>Is the i7 still not really worth it in that case?
It would really depend on how much time you spent encoding anime i suppose.
An i5 will still do it just slower, i would assume something like 30% slower but that's just a guess, someone else might be better able to tell you.
If it's something you spend a lot of time doing it might be worth it.

Supposedly it has a much lower power draw, owing to the Pascal architecture. Confirm/Deny?

If it does, it'd mean it'll offer much better performance for laptops once laptops with 1050's start showing up.

60 is higher than 50

they're both shit

if you can't afford a 1060 6gb/rx480 8gb you get the rx470 4gb
