Proprietary video games are far more important than privacy or freedom

>proprietary video games are far more important than privacy or freedom

You do realize 90% of Sup Forums dual-boots windows 7/8.1 and some linux distro, and said linux distro is only used to rice their desktop to post on desktop threads right?

I could live without vidya but the problem is that Linux doesn't even have software.

>gaymes on windows
>vm or reboot for literally anything else
and done

>this thread again

>2016
>not running Windows as a VM for your gaymen needs

I shiggy diggy do

Virtual machines or rebooting doesn't make non-free software free.

VMs don't magically make Windows free.

ok

>freedome

At this point I'm not even sure what that means. Convoluted shitlicenses for software I'd rather not have to use.

>Windows recognizes that it runs inside a VM and immediately stops spying on the user 24/7 for some reason

>he doesn't understand that a host machine can whitelist and sniff a guest vm's network traffic for anything suspicious

next you'll be telling me that you were only pretending to be retarded

Video games which install kernel drivers always give me that warm fuzzy feeling of being safe.

Thank you holy gaben!

You do realize that the whole world isn't you and you're not the upper limit of intelligence?

I didn't played with anything since September. :(
I dual boot w7 and linux though.

DISGUSTING
DELET PIC IMMEDIATLY AND KYS FUCKING SUBHUMAN SCUM

feces demon

VMs have shit performance. Why even buy a high performance PC if you're going to run windows in a VM?

well yes

nothing wrong with drm-free gaymes that run on free platforms. just like books.

this
Linux is a meme OS. No one really uses it.

People in /g all dual boot it just to take screenshots and post here, but in the end, everyone goes to Windows when in need to do some real work or gaming.

Linux is the best backend platform out there. Most of the web runs on it. However, since most computing is done through a web browser these days, I just use a Chromebook and ssh into my Ubuntu VPS for all my programming

>VMs have shit performance
Wrong.

>the only reason to buy a high performance PC is to play video games

>everyone goes to Windows
I don't.

Because you can run a lot of VMs.

W R O N G

You can have both.

this hits too close

no. only important thing for me is that my hardware works properly.

>Linux as primary OS
>Windows in VM for muh gaymes
>Freedom preserved
>Proprietary menace sandboxed away and unable to see any real data
