Sir Clive Sinclair was the true innovator who brought cheap home computing to the UK. Alan Sugar rode his tailcoat. In the US it was Jack Tramiel and Nolan Bushnall. Jobs can't hold a candle to any of these men, including Sugar, a man who I think is a fucking idiot.
Jobs was a sensational self promotion expert who could spin a fine story to the press but who actually did very little to bring home computing to the market.
