Let's sing the praise of true visionaries.

Say something nice about Steve Jobs.

He's dead.

not op, but he made a lot of shit viable in the market.

He was pretty good with design and marketing I guess

He popularized the personal computer.

He is gone

ahhh so edgy!!! xDDDD

...

...

Lmao I like how lgbt cross boarders get so angry over a fellow homo

Invented commercial software.

it's funny when anti-apple zealots get triggered over someone calling them edgy tryhards

No he didn't. No fucker bought the Mac, his polished turd, coloured plastic shit box was released when PC's were prevalent in the home and the Macbook's were a niche brand swamped by better and cheaper laptops.

Sinclair, Atari, Commodore & to a lesser extent Amstrad blazed the way for cheap home computing.

Apple and Jobs did fuck all.

lolling at how desperately revisionist you guys get

Made planned obsolescence and closed systems the norm.

The man also liked to put his feet in toilets so he was also a dirty cunt.

Aww
>he actually replied

OK, here is a list of the home computers I owned when I was a bairn. I'm from the UK but most systems were available in the US.

Sinclair ZX81
Sinclair ZX Spectrum
Commodore VIC 20
Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128k
Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2
Commodore 64
Commodore Amiga 500
Atari ST
Commodore Amiga 600
Commodore Amiga 1200

And at the age of about 17 I bought my first PC.

Apple anywhere? No.

Sir Clive Sinclair was the true innovator who brought cheap home computing to the UK. Alan Sugar rode his tailcoat. In the US it was Jack Tramiel and Nolan Bushnall. Jobs can't hold a candle to any of these men, including Sugar, a man who I think is a fucking idiot.

Jobs was a sensational self promotion expert who could spin a fine story to the press but who actually did very little to bring home computing to the market.

>I'm sick of seeing some fat hair faggot that can't even install an OS.
>seeing
Wow OP you are so fucking gay that it's remarkably obvious

You mad bro?

>implying steve jobs could have installed an OS

JOBS > RMS

> who brought cheap home computing to the UK
Why UK?
He brought cheap western computing in Russia too.

So? RMS is a fat cuck communist. Jobs is a gay jew, they both are shit.

Fuck off you argumentative cunt.

He can

It just has so much money and influence he gets other people to install it for him

How often do you think jobs installed his own operating systems? Hint: 0

I'm not glad he's dead, but I'm glad he's gone.

Are you an autist?
I just mentioned that UK wasn't alone to use Sinclair's child.

>Sinclair
>USA
LMFAO

Apple ][ predates all of those machines :^)

>fat hair faggot
what did he mean by this

>> drunk
I meant to say fat hairy faggot.

If you read what I posted I was replying to this below

>He popularized the personal computer.

Jobs didn't popularise the PC.

At no point did I say any of the machines I listed predated Apple as a company as that wasn't my point.

The Apple 2 was a niche US machine at best.

I bid you good day and I suggest you go fuck yourself, your mother, father or your clown shoes.

Now fuck off.

Yes, I am an autist.

The Russian machines were unlicensed rip offs of Sinclair machines.

I didn't mention these machines as I'm from the UK and not Russian.

I knew about these machines but didn't think it was relevant to mention them.

Now fuck off.

He didn't let software engineers get away with being lazy shits.

I love systemd. Come at me.

He made normies appreciate technology.

#2 is gross and only proves what a terrible greedy person he must be, but nothing wrong with #3.

MBP > Chinkpad

He auditted a calligraphy class after he dropped out of college.
This gave him the mad hacking skillz to design fonts for Woz.
When did RMS ever create anything gnu?

He was a great dad.

Fellow Sinclair fag here.

Have you seen Micro Men with Alexander Armstrong as Sir Clive and Martin Freeman as Chris Curry? It's fantastic.
