Last time I joined there were only two other people in there and I didn't want to intrude so I immediately /leave'd

/part
FTFY

Dont mind me.

/kick

Except there's usually 20 people, of which only five use BSD

Are macOSfags allowed?

What is the best BSD distribution for anime watching?

>it could never be the case that only two people were present in an IRC room because I joined once and there wuz liek 2000 people in there

The OP of the channel is one: he doesn't use BSD.

>cue trans hackintosh fag

glad that you're finally renaming your images at least

what makes *BSD a superior server OS to a linux system?

Wizard necroposts apparently.

gotta keep the fire fueled :^)

...

i hope you used libre software to create this masterpeice

Of course.
Wish I had wacom or something.

Saved

are you /the/ KDE shill?

Yup

why do you not have a trip yet

I only posted my trip once though
OP is a mactard himself so yeah

Does anyone know why the OpenBSD source tree has two binutils directories?

There is a good binutils that is GPL, and a shitty one that doesn't work.

I noticed someone saged

polite bump

One for free software, one for GNU software.

I don't know much about freebsd but I want to use it on my server. Primarily want to do file streaming. Any advice?

Can you clarify what you mean by file streaming?

If I'm a complete dumbass what BSD distro (is that what they're called?) should I check out?
I'm just looking to install one in a VM and mess around with it to see if I want to go /baremetal/ or not

openbsd

FreeBSD, also VMs are a waste of time.

Like media. films, tv shows etc some file sharing as well.

Why would you say VMs are a waste of time? Idiot.

You could probably stream it if you use NFS? It depends on what you usually do.

FreeBSD can not stream those file types, you will need to install windows.

I use BSD but this made my day

>Why would you say VMs are a waste of time?
To get a response his otherwise uninspiring post didn't get.
Mission accomplished!
If you see shit posted don't touch it.

Gonna give BSD a try- anyone try TrueOS?
