hello here is my screenfetch
...
Okay, my turn.
Didn't you read the op?
Desktops aren't welcome.
it's amazing how little gets done on this board.
wtf?
Here you go
...
Go back to Sup Forums weebs.
arch + chinkpad = lulz
macfag
wtf!
Just curious, what do you use your computer for?
Usually when I use Linux, it's to revive an older pc that's showing its age in windows, but your specs are quite high end.
What do you need 2614 packages for?
These days in linux - main browsing machine, video editing, running VMs for Windows stuff, writing (lots of this), running any game that works on linux from Steam. Also have a dedicated Windows partition for things that don't. But basically I'm just comfiest with linux because I've been using it for a long, long time.
...
I dunno they just kind of accumulate.
h*ck yes its my favorite thread!
>packages
>666
>shell
>sh
don't worry I'm not using that oh-my-zsh bloat
boring as fuck
I also use the vanilla vi (nvi, which appeared in 4.4BSD).
??
why, vim is better in every aspect
I'll probably boot back into Xubuntu in a bit.
What do you need 2202 packages for?
I assume it comes with the Ubuntu bloat. I do a lot of random ass dev and end up leaving a lot of shit behind.
>16 packages
go back already, war r u doin in os x
Not in every aspect. They are the same in the most important aspect: its data model.
I can always open an emacs frame by its client, if I want 'advanced' editing capabilities.
>font?
>gnu emacs on freebsd
devilish
fixed, opensans and i forget the name of the other one
...
>Bildschirmfoto
why don't you use english as your system's locale like a sane person?
Best screenfetch here
Based kevin
what os is this? Sorry. im a dumbass
whats with the poostain on the side rajesh?
its not a poostain, its worse; a transparent terminal
Did you open the screenshot?
Solus
You sure he doesn't mean the fucked up font rendering?
Pic related is what the kerning on Ubuntu Mono should look like.
I ported (You) counter to old meguca
Also no screenfetch installed
you can change the theme to match by editing the script
From my T43. I don't use it because the fan sounds like a microwave and needs to be replaced; my sister does though.
I did so before but when porting thee counter I managed to fuck up with namespaces and my edited script disappeared and then I was too lazy to put the colors back.
lol
And the X220.
Also I copied line 83 to inside of render() so the count updates without a page refresh.
But that change is gone too.
nice, i'll have to do that
Why the fuck are you running that's making you use 11 gigs of ram?
>sytemd
oh no's
...
Wtf I hate macOS now.
why have ram if you don't use it?
neofetch incoming
neofetch from other computer (Windows) incoming
Yees
I do use it, but just for games. I would just feel dirty using that much ram on anything else.
>he thinks the only use for ram is gaymes
What else would I use it on? At most I use 3GB of ram
I know it's not the best thread to ask, but anyone knows what is this OS? I can't recognize the start menu icon.
...
GNU/Linux, one based on the Debian distribution judging by the package manager output
i upgraded from 8 to 16gb because skyrim would use up all my ram lol
Which distro exactly? Sorry I wasn't clear enough.
The start menu icon is blue with a white 's' symbol, but I can't recognize it.
C-can I join in guys?
...
beautiful looking terminal; custom fork of iterm2? the rounded border looks very nice
Don't worry user I would be embarrassed to if I was using elementary.
>>>/reddit/
systemd is just the best.
Boot time related.
B-but it's not bloated and runs very well with little fuss.
it's an outdated ubuntu with a bad mac skin
Why does that matter if you reboot once every couple weeks.
At least its on gentoo and not arch.
Took you long enough
It matters because its better.
Is not caring how fast your computer boots a reason to use slower inits?
Say that to my face not online fucker and see what happens.
How fast does it boot?
>not bloated
i'll be as honest as i can be. get a fucking life, get off of this board, and go fucking kill yourselves
>projecting intensifies
If you were really honest with yourself you wouldn't judge because you are a pathetic nerd posting in a screenfetch thread because this is more interesting than anything else you have going at the moment.
Actually very fast. On my X1 it has to be less than 15 seconds.
Hi.
>X1
I want to blow money on the Yoga X1 but I just can't bring myself to do it.
...
l33t h4x0r incoming
I picked up my X1 carbon on eBay for like $300, it was a huge upgrade from my X200. I'm a horrible cheap jewfag and it's the most expensive computer I own, roast me.
omg dwm
do u a haker for fbi?
>dwm
what the heck are you talking about user
do you not know how to read
Looks like dwm to me
>shilling his hillary clinton distro that doesn't even use wayland
Idiot its i3
i3 is just another name for dwm
What is your up to date (You) count?
...
no it isn't
by that logic xmonad is also dwm
Very nice, I am just a little baby
