This is a fucking is. image too.

New server/domain i guess
This fuckin chink cant afford anything good so now wonder it lags

>image server
Ask catalog fag about it on /qa/

It's the new Islamic State top level domain

tlds are on the right, not the left

Its a secondary server hosted in Canada.

Arabic is written from right to left.
Their TLDs are left.

this user is right

This is correct.

Hiroshimoot rented a cheap server (not a cluster, just one dedi) with OVH in Canada for the serving of the highest bandwidth images, to reduce the cost of hosting the site.

It is, of course, incredibly overloaded, but OVH don't charge you bandwidth caps.

I don't know why he 'needed' to do this when the site was financially viable and breaking even when moot ran it, and J-List are back, and he's going with malicious ads too, and pushing passes and asking for donations; word from 2ch is that they kicked him out as admin because he was greedy and dishonest about the site finances, so... yeah.

Image (slow).

(The .is TLS is based Iceland, btw)

some charity thing the islamic state was doing, and Sup Forums needed free image hosting

OH SHIT

Do links never become is.Sup Forums if you're using Force HTTPS?

Because I've checked hundreds of images and none are on the is. subdomain but every time someone shows an image of their address bar with it, it always has the "Not secure" text next to it

>Server
>Canada

I refuse to believe it, our ISPs fuck everyone including professional industries. It's one of the reason the hosting industry is tiny here, you can't host fuck all in this country because one of the ISPs is going to charge you $50,000 for a gigabit enterprise connection.

migrating part of the traffic to cheaper servers so he can siphon off money. or stem the bloodflow after he lost JList. hard to say which one without actually knowing Sup Forums's finances, but given that he has been constantly exaggerating I ssume it is the first

>I don't know why he 'needed' to do this

He probably didn't.
If Sup Forums was in actual financial troubles he could just do something like shutting down the porn dump boards than probably have some of the highest traffic/user ratios, especially when you consider that everyone and their mom is running 4chanx with preloading enabled.
He also heavily inflated the server hosting costs when he put them at ~$90k "as an example"

>hard to say which one without actually knowing Sup Forums's finances

It's actually really easy to tell. Pic related

He posted an image of Sup Forums bandwidth graph and used overpriced Amazon ECS pricing to spin Sup Forums as costing $90,000/month

The key to exposing his fraud was that he cropped out the axis labelled on the graph, which anyone who uses CloudFlare will tell you involves Cached data.

Cached data doesn't cost you extra with CloudFlare, so in reality Sup Forums traffic is majority cached and Hiro is spending a fraction of the cost he's pretending to.

He's a con artist, and this sin't his first time bullshitting an imageboards user base for profit.

Why is his total bandwidth and cached bandwidth the same, when 8c's is different? Is the implication he photoshopped that too?

>used overpriced Amazon ECS pricing to spin Sup Forums as costing $90,000/month
He said over and over that the actual cost is much lower

Rounding error, e.g.
3.4 PB vs. 2.6 PB
