because it improves the browsing experience :^)

ublocko
Because ads
Https everywhere
Because https
Stylish
Because I don't like the design of some sites
Greasemonkey
Because 4chanX

Is it me or adsbypasser can't get past the new linkbucks link which us zypettreie

>Adblock plus
>disable
Disgusting

Adblock plus (for obvious reasons).
Leechblock (to control my porn addiction)

Why not when uhide is running?

>BetterTTV
Obvious? It adds functionality/themeing to twitch.

>Classic Theme Restorer
Makes more UI movable, lets me alter tab min/max width without bugs, edit some behaviour. General purpose customisation addon for Firefox.

>Cleanest Addon Manager
Self explanatory

>Greasemonkey
Manages custom JS to add/remove functionality on arbitrary websites.

>Hide Caption Titlebar Plus
For hiding the top bar of firefox w/o bugs, and customising some other shit.

>Hide Tabbar
Toggle tab bar visibility

>Hide Scrollbars
Can be done with CSS but possible bugs, so I use this.

>Menu Wizard
To remove dumb bullshit from menus

>No Enumerable Extensions
Anti fingepritning

>Open With
To send videos to mpv

>Pure URL
Removes bullshit from urls

>Reddit Meme Addon
To make reddit's ui and behaviour less shit

>Self Destructing Cookies
Privacy/security/anti-fingerprint

>Smart Referer
Prevents unnecessary referral headers

>Stylish
Easy custom CSS application

>uBlock Origin
Best adblocker in existence atm

>rightstoclose
double right click to close tab

>firegestures
hold right click and use scroll wheel to scroll vertical tabs

>tree style tabs
veritcal tabs

>yet another smooth scrolling

...

>reddit
How about you fuck off there

VimFX
>thread

This.

I switched from Firefox to Edge.

remove adblock for uBlock or have both at the same time?

>ublock origin
adblocker

>httpseverywhere
muh https

>greasemonkey
muh javascript

>stylish
muh ricing

>rikaisama
>toggle-clipboard
for learning japs

Are you retard? Having 2 same functionality add-ons is redundant. Choose either of them, in this case choose ublock origin.

...

>What extensions do you use for Mozilla Firefox
and why?
Well, they're self explanatory.

...

what the fuck is wrong with you

...

>not ublock origin

>caring

Not him, but you should. You're supporting a ripoff.

Are there good addons to customize the new tab page?

What does greasemonkey do?

custom scripts on sites

>Firefox thread
Any user the fbuild that came out from some random japanese dude?

Looks sketchy as hell, but I'm a whore for optimization

HTTPSEverywhere & UBlock Origin
for muh pruvacy

>ublock origin
Fuck the ads
>https everywhere
Gotta stay secure :^)
>self destructing cookies
Very useful simce i hate those cookies that track you
>Greasemonkey
4chanX

...

works fine

How do you guys use Firefox without these?!

Advanced Locationbar
Canvas Defender
cliget
Decentraleyes
DownThemAll!
Email This! Bookmarklet Extension
Greasemonkey
HTTPS Everywhere
Imagus
Linkification
Resurrect Pages
Right Links
Secure Password Generator
Self-Destructing Cookies
Smart Referer
StartupMaster
uBlock Origin

ublock
blender
cipherfox
https everywhere
grab and drag
self destructing cookies

By not being autistic

They're not the same functionality, they try to accomplish the same thing is all

You can remove the cache in preferences>advanced>network

I don't even know what most of them do

Decentraleyes
Greasemonkey
HTTPS Everywhere
uBlock Origin
uMatrix
User Agent Switcher
Self-Destructing Cookies

⁍mega because mega
⁍adblock origin because ads
⁍greasemonkey because reek "anti adblock killer" user script because adblock origin
⁃and that's it.

...

What does that mean....?

Install greasemonkey
Install Sup Forums x

thank me later

I don't even use Firefox right now. You gotta tell me what these do man.

Sup Forums x is a literal botnet
It knows all your shitposts, and it so does anyone who wants to
You're complete idiots

I have like half a dozen profiles with different extensions on them. The essential kit all of them have in common is:
Ublock
Tree style tabs
Multiple tab handler
Tab groups

My main profile has some 20 extensions on it though, and then some more I disabled but never bothered to uninstall.

...

addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/who-stole-my-pictures/
You might like this

I use open with to play videos with mpv. The rest is pretty self-explanatory

vimperator

>Pure URL
>HTTPS Everywhere
>Privacy Badger
>Ublock origin
>Self destructing cookies
>Greasemonkey
>Stylish

install ublock origin
install greasemonkey
install reek's anti adblock killer script
>there's tons of other greasemonkey userscripts besides that.

...

Why are you even going to websites that ask you to disable ad-blocker? And when you do, you can just click continue anyway. I've never seen one that forbids access.

>HideScrollbars
>scrollbar on the right

Are you sure that's not your scrollbar?

It's that guy that has a ton of extensions and 500 open tabs and complains about slowness.

Thats not the best example since you dont need greasemonkey to add filters in ublock origin

There are sites that dont let you continue unless you disable your adblocker. Ive used it for so long though that the only thing that comes to mind are porn sites.

umatrix for the grid, although policeman is kind of tempting too

vimperator is shit.

if anything use pentadactyl.

even still, pentadactyl has too much shit in it to be marginally useful

You need to add greasemonkey and reek userscript if you want reek filter list to actually work.

Scripts:
>4chanx
>anti add block killer
>eze

uMatrix can do useragent spoofing.

You can use Open With to open shit in mpv (and so much more) too. Otherwise, bretty gud.

>uMatrix can do useragent spoofing.
I'm aware. but RAS chooses randomly from all available ones, and has whitelisting options for sites that shit out becuase "Your Browser is Outdated".

>Open With
Used to use it but don't open anything other then videos in mpv.

Not already in the thread:
Tab Tree
Add to Search Bar
Context Search X
Save Image in Folder

Fair enough, I'd just set it to the latest chrome version and be done with it.

Here's all that I use.

umatrix also does random ua spoofing though

>AdBlock Plus
>Not uBlock Origin
Consider suicide

...

HTTPS everywhere doesn't work a lot of the time. Awful extension.

Save link in folder
Makes saving memes so much easier
addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/save-link-in-folder/?src=userprofile

You're a fucking dunce
What do people gain by making posts like this

Adblock Plus
Decentraleyes
Disable Anti-Adblock
Disconnect
DuckDuckGo Plus
HTTPS Everywhere
NoScript
Policeman
Random Agent Spoofer
Self-Destructing Cookies
uBlock Origin
Web Developer

Its worked for me on every site that uses ssl

Why do you have adblock plus if you have ublock origin? There are no benefits.

I use Azid and Down Them All for image downloading, but is there a mass downloader that's better than DTA?

b8, but i will bite.
Have you ever tried reading what it actually does. It can't force SSL if the site doesn't support SSL.

I'm paranoid of Google storing my porn habits in some database that someone could hack and find one day.

>Unironically using Twitch and Reddit
You are fucking cancer, please kill yourself.

Noscript, Ublock, decentraleyes, https everywhere, random agent spoofer, better privacy, rikaichan, greasemonkey, stylish
So basically a bunch or passive privacy addons that work in the background without worrying about them, then noscript and ublock, then stylish/graeasemonkey with youtube center/rikaichan.
Oh, also vimperator, though I mostly dont use its functionality on my desktop, only laptop.

wich add would you reccomend against the youtube regional restrictions?

>Organizing tabs
Tab Groups
Tree Style Tab

>Misc
Menu Wizard for custom hotkeys
Session Manager so I don't lose all my stuff if nightly fucks up catastrophically

> uBlock Origin
I've been told it's not the best, but it does it's job
> cliget
Might have the wrong name there, essentially it generates a wget command based on a download prompt, great for when I want to download something from sourceforge (god forbid) onto my server and I don't want to do an in-between. Handles headers, user agents, cookies, the full works, does curl too.
> Bamboo RSS
only good RSS client I've ever found, it's what's kept me using Firefox, and if it ever goes away I might as well kms
> Grease monkey
Just in case I need to write a script for some reason, it's not doing anything right now
> Tile tabs
No clue the actual name, let's me tile tabs within Firefox, useful for watching stocks or threads or both, rarely used
Considering getting a KeePass extension and switching away from Firefox saving all of it for me

...

I don't complain about slowness and try to keep the tabs under 200 usually 100

...

What is the appeal of using mpv?

Lightweight
Portable
Customizable
Plays everything, and well
Foss
I like using the config file over navigating through through a bunch of settings
I like the no border look with no gui

Its not for everyone, but Its my prefered media player atm

Fair enough. I found the /mpv/ thread. Was interesting, might look into it.

Pentadactyl because browsing is painfully slow otherwise.
GreaseMonkey because 4chanX.
uMatrix because I can't stand the modern web.
The rest because I'm a tinfoil hatted ludite.

Disconnect & ublock Origin

>To much shit to be marginally useful
Nigga you what
Pentadactyl enables you to use whatever text editor you want for all inputs, lets you create custom bindings to launch specific programs with URLs from the page, lets you create three letters shortcut to whatever site you want, highlights all your searches...
It makes browsing so fast that when I'm looking for something on Github by only pressing n (to go to the next search item) and ]] (to go to the next page) Github stops loading pages because it thinks I'm a bot crawling its pages.

Classic Theme Restorer because UI looks like shit without it
Cookies Manager+ because it's more comfy than standard cookie manager. also cookie editing.
Download Panel Tweaks to show speed in the download panel.
Flagfox because i like the flags i guess.
Greasemonkey because some sites are shit and i need scripts to fix them.
HistoryBlock to exclude domains that would otherwise generate a lot of history entries from my history.
HTTPS everywhere because encryption is good.
JSONView because it makes json pretty.
Live HTTP headers (clone) to view headers.
Menu Wizard to remove some unnecessary menu entries.
Mozilla Archive Format for .maff saving.
Nightly Tester Tools to change the title bar text.
Page Shot for easy screenshot sharing.
Privacy Settings for... privacy settings.
Pure URL to make URLs prettier.
Save Images to mass-save images from multiple tabs.
Search by Image for Google for right-click reverse image search.
Stylish to fix broken styles and improve some UI stuff.
Switch to Tab no more to disable "switch to tab"
uBlock Origin cuz i hate ads.
User Agent Switcher because some sites work better if you pretend you're google.

Why are you using Vimperator instead of Pentadactyl? (Not trying to start an argument, just wondering what the advantages of Vimperator are)

Download with youtube-dl. Or use nsfwyoutube.com

>Bamboo RSS only good RSS client I've ever found
Have you tried Newsbeuter?

i just started out with vimperator first and set it up to match everything with my browser, i'm sure pentadactyl is good as well i'd just never heard of it before i installed vimperator since vimp is pretty popular

>Classic Theme Restorer
For ricing
>DownThemAll
For the off chance I need to download a lot of images on one page
>Gnotifier
For integration
>Greasemonkey
For scripts
>HTTPS Everywhere
For safety
>Menu Wizard
For ricing
>NewScrollbars
For ricing
>NoSquintPlus
For the text zoom
>Open With
For mpv (mozplugger is a shit)
>Private Tab
I don't want to have two different windows open with one just for a few tabs
>Pure URL
For aesthetics (due to my ricing)
>Stylish
For ricing
>TreeStyleTabs
Love it so much that I cannot go without it
>uBlock Origin
Need an adblocker
>Unityfox Revived
For integration

I plan to try to replace NewScrollbars with a userstyle once I know how to do so.

No, I'll take a look

I hardly restart my pc, is there an easy way (without checking one by one manually) which addon is causing firefox to bug out when its been running for a long time? (mem leak I guess)
