The UK has just passed a law making it legal for security services to hack into your devices and view pretty much everything you do online, and forces ISPs to keep a comprehensive 12 month history of every site you visit, every app and software update you download, every message you send etc

hopefully she ends up like Jacqui "porn vid expenses" Smith
Write a program that browses to random sites 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Give program to friends. Overload ISP database and generate more data than is possible to mine.
Nice source OP, swing by my place so I can shove it up your ass.
>generate more data than is possible to mine.
You wish that were possible, but data miners are very very good at their jobs.
>tfw voted Trump
Tor + Bridge (Tor Project blocked? Find one of the many mirrors, verify with GPG (download the key using public wifi))
Tor + AWS bridge is litterally bulletproof. If you wanted you could even further obfuscate it by running your own VPN on a VPS in romania bought with tumbled BTC.
UK seems to enjoy pointless laws that invade normal people's privacy while doing nothing to people who either:
Want to have some privacy
Or actual criminals.
Internet crime is unavoidable. Period. Nothing (zero) can be done to stop it. (At least not in the west, and certain parts of the east)
>what every government is already doing anyway
And the point of this thread is...?
b8
Are you feeling good or feeling bad? He wants Snowden's head.
it gives UK authorities far reaching surveillance powers, not just the cunts in GCHQ
The UK govt also enforced an opt-out porn blocker on all ISPs, and want to ban end-to-end encryption.
>Not living in the land of the free
You britcucks get what you deserve
Deserve it for importing terrorists.
Which land would that be then?
I'll laugh at you if you say America btw
No matter as it will be bad anyway.
>nation open carry tba
ye bruv, amerikkka so bad lmao
Good luck
t. running up-to-date linux on a power8 machine with no hardware back doors
I've just assumed they've been doing exactly that for years.
At first I fell for the Snowden meme and looked into open sores and Linux and encryption etc etc. But then I thought, "do i really give a shit?"
I've gone back to not caring any more. If Theresa May wants to watch me wank to Japanese femdom, she's welcome to.
>comprehensive 12 month history
what is HTTPS?
what is a VPN?
Soon to be illegal
>what is HTTPS?
you can know which ip therefore site are someone visiting, just the content is encrypted
Britain is the most watched nation on Earth. This tired old cunt of a Prime Minister needs to butt out of peoples private lives. Freedom? It died decades ago in the UK. British Govt is more fascist than Hitler or Trump.
America is the freest nation in the world.
I used to browse Sup Forums regularly, and I thought it was just memes until I kept seeing posts about how it is to have a TV
I know you need TV licenses down there, but apparently people get harassed simply for having a TV without a license, even if they only use streaming services. Can you imagine having to justify your purchases to someone?
Fuck, not even that - can you imagine someone actively monitoring you to determine whether or not you are paying for that cable? Also
>cctv literally everywhere
I wish America was free, matey. Under Obama the wiretapping & eavesdropping has got worse.
Under Trump, I think Snowden will be pardoned, and America will become a much more free society.
I don't have a TV licence. I use streaming on KODI. The BBC can fuck off for their 145 pounds a year ($ 170)
>under Trump, I think Snowden will be pardoned,
this is literally the stupidest thing i've heard all week.
what leader wants to pardon a guy who stole data to make your government look bad?
>i dont like paying for things; i like stealing
wtf I thought brexit would end this
My wife pays for the licence, but I don't watch BBC out of principle. Pirate Bay for BBC shows I get for free. More than enough I recoup.
the harrassment is exaggerated.
They send you scary letters, sure. but you can fill in an online declaration, and they won't ask again for 2 years. They may come and visit your premises to check, but you are in no way obligated to let them in unless they come with a court order.
Obama sanctioned the most repressive monitoring of the American public ever instigated in a free society. That damn asshole is riding roughshod over the American constitution. People have the right to privacy from Governments.
dane here
similar situation in all of scandinavia, you must pay for a "multimedia license" despite not even having your tv hooked up
own a computer, phone or any machine able to stream audio or video? pay up
Ironically, George Orwell was English.
any smart criminal will use encryption, this will just fill our already stretched courts and prisons with low level idiots who clicked on the wrong link or made a poor porn choice
Good, you deserve it.
yeah.
and he was suppose to be a liberal.
what do you think will happen when a war-monger like Trump gets a hold of the programs.
>protip: obama also deported more illegal mexicans in >4yrs than bush did in 8. he also expanded Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) budget
he also was the one who put all those illegal immigrant families in prison camps.
he did all this quietly.
Trump will do more of the same except he will be tweeting about it.
Internet privacy will only get worse.
technology will get better.
software will get better.
these are the badges that these agencies create.
you think you can stop them from spying?
Just hoping Trump will be different for you guys.
Bush/Clinton/Obama has been a shit-fest for America.
What America needs is another Lincoln.
It was always going to be bad
>another assassinated president
>implying lincoln was good
You are literally retarded. Kill yourself.
TV licences are the tax which funds the BBC, the greatest broadcaster on the planet. If you skip out on paying, it's basically the same as downloading shit off the Internet; it's definitely a crime, however minor. And they never used to care about streaming; it's just that so many people stopped buying TVs and just watching things on iPlayer that it was cutting into the money they received, so they asked to have the law changed.
And like other people have said, the laws to actually enforce the TV licence law are very much on your side. They probably won't send anyone round to make sure you don't have a TV, and if you do, you can just tell them to go away and not let them into your house.
Channel 4's online service can fuck off, though. They want you to create a profile so they can monitor you and cuck you out of the money that your personal information is worth. Fuck them. That's the only time I actually pirate anything.
Lincoln was fucking horrible
Only the uneducated and niggers like him
Obama has been great. I know American politics has gone full JUST over the past few years, but that's because of the rise of the Internet and slacktivism and identity politics, nothing to do with Obama.
Okay thanks uncle Sup Forums, you can go back to your board now
>Obama has been great.
Not for your freedoms
mmmm that transparency.
I was amazed when I lived in US and the bloody TVs had a V chip inside..... WTF? and schools keeping track of pupils webcams at home?
Freedom must always win in the US, only takes one asshole as President to turn it into a police state. and Privacy? Privacy is dead.
I don't use Sup Forums idiot assmonger
When you have a VPN hosted in another country, what more do you have to worry about?
>V chip
wtf are you ranting about?
v-chip is a simple system that blocks adult content (tv show ratings)
its off by default.
Love to see those 30000 emails made public. I bet they were on Yahoo LOL. Can't wait until THE DONALD gets his Thinkpad hacked LOL
It also sends back information via cable on what you view.
>TVs had a V chip inside
Which literally no one uses. I question whether or not you even understand what it is.
>schools keeping track of pupils webcams at home?
I honestly have no idea what you're talking about here and suspect you don't either.
>18 1/2 minutes
Maybe he was just rocking out?

obama's NSA program spied on United Nation members.
Edward Snowden leaks have fucking amazed me how the president wasn't impeached for any of it.

you do realize how television signals work?
it's one way communication.

It claims that since the laptops were used by students and their friends and family at home, images of "compromising or embarrassing positions, including ... in various states of undress" have been captured.
We ignore the law here, my friend.
>stole government data
*exposed illegal government data
We don't need another Lincoln. We need another Andrew Jackson.
isn't porn banned in the UK? What do you possibly have to hide?
pic says it all
>Female ejaculation
sure is extreme
meanwhile male ejaculation is allowed, topkek :^)
>Under Trump, I think Snowden will be pardoned, and America will become a much more free society.
You forgot to mention school district was rightfully sued to shit by the parents afterwards. The closest comparison between the UK and USA in regards to surveillance is the activities taken by the NSA program. While the NSA program is an egregious violation of privacy/human rights GCHQ is agreed upon to be a much worse offender as it has even less oversights.

>female ejaculation
so piss?
none of that is hot at all
I'm just playing doubles advocate user, fuck all this data collection bullshit. USA and Canada are next. There's no escape until someone who knows even the slightest bit about technology gets in power
Now the Snoopers Charter is law in the UK, we are no longer a free country. The Conservative Government has done what Hitler failed to achieve. The UK is dead.
THE INVESTIGATORY POWERS BILL (IP Bill), which has been some 10 years in the making in various forms, has been passed by Parliament.
The so-called Snoopers' Charter was passed by the House of Lords today following a final debate examining various amendments.
The Bill will therefore become law within weeks, legalising a number of secret service activities that were ruled unlawful only in October.
>Face sitting for not face fucking
Where is the feminist outrage?
BREXIT MEANS BREXIT
Source?
Which can mean a lot for sites like Sup Forums or Reddit.
>Female ejaculation
This can't be serious.
My sympathies for people living in UK. Hope the next one you guys elect can do something about it. Though, the population should do so.
Pretty sure that was put to a halt like weeks ago
>implying your politicians will let it happen
I've done nothing wrong so I don't really care
You know what's worse?
"Role-playing as non adults" isn't accurate as a definition, role playing as people in positions of authority and power is more so
IE, teacher, police, priest, etc
Because fuck people who want to get off to getting out of a speeding ticket
It was put to a halt before it even passed
>democracy
proving once again that the interests of the corporations running the country always matter more than the interests of the people
>the interests of the people
caring about that is racist,

Oh they will, they're all too afraid of going against what the majority wants.

>Porn needs to be declared on the customs slip
>Laptop has been used for so long for so much shit I'm not even sure what would breach the "acceptable porn" laws

You know it's a problem when you're not even sure if you're breaking a law or not. I don't want to end up on fucking border control.
>Strangulation
>Facesitting
