at least I can play Civ V and HotS

protip: never buy Asus

I've had pic related a couple months, no problems here

inconsistent manufacturing

>buying a 980ti when there's 1080
you brought this on yourself
btw my bro has a radeon card made by asus and it's still going 5 years later, not trying to shill for asus, I prefer evga, I'm just sayin

>comparing 375 smackeroos to 850 smackersoo

The fuck did you expect mate?

protip: never buy nvidia

I have an asus mobo and GPU (rx470) and they juzt werk

>Infused with Award-winning Innovations
>In small print: "Award for quickest house fire 2016"

This.

I haven't had any problems with gigabyte, windforce 680 4GB still going strong. I'll probably upgrade when it dies since its still performing quite well.

Also ultra durable isn't just a meme, I've been running an i7 870 at 4.3ghz for a few years now on a ud3r board and it's still working perfectly.

memory defroster??

>Be gayman hardware company
>Have one function or peice of software that comes with the product that already has a name
>Call it something cancerous because it will appeal to the 12 year olds

It's like you haven't seen this shit before user.

I literally have no idea what that could possibly mean, hence my question

how do retards keep killing their cards? i've had a 3.5 cuck card from evga b-stock of all places for over a year now and have had zero issues with it. fans aren't even audible under load nor does core temp ever go above 65c.

get a cheap hd 7950 from XFX or Sapphire to replace the dead card.
Only get XFX, Sapphire or MSi if you get AMD
Only get EVGA, ZOTAC, Inno3D or MSi if you get NVIDIA

>ever trusting in nvidia

Buy EVGA, they'll either give you a replacement or something newer stuip fast, just prove that you actually bought it.

>post about ASUS 980TI
>posts EVGA 1070

in reply to people saying:
>hurr you should have bought 10 series instead

No one said that before you posted it

Also what you posted is specific to EVGA cards

Flippity floo
Here's your (You)

You're right OP, and Asus is actually one of the better GPU OEMs. I bet if you had made a fuss and given them your credit card info, they would have done an advance replacement.

EVGA is the best.

>works for me (TM)

>if you had made a fuss and given them your credit card info
what do you mean?

>Infused with Award-winning Innovations

So they let it sit in a tank full of innovation for a couple of days before shipping it and hope that something rubs off?

>looks like the same fan/ cooler setup that I had on my Asus 290
>3/5 heatpipes didn't even make contact
>jet engine noise

So glad I upgraded to a Sapphire R9 Fury Nitro, not just because of the performance but the noise and heat.

Asus does some pretty sexy looking packaging though, I won't lie.

I mean, if you convince Asus you're important or get escalated to a higher tier tech support, they'll let you put a deposit down and ship you a new card right away.

>they'll let you put a deposit down and ship you a new card right away.
what? I don't get it. I bought and paid for it months ago already

lmao i bought two of these

running hot at 96 degrees

the fan curve vbios update lowered my temps by like 10 degrees im still waiting on the 'thermal pad mod' in the mail

The deposit is in case you don't ship the broken card back. It's not supposed to be a payment. Are you 12? You don't know the concept of a fucking deposit?

ayyysus cooling related

>dried chewing gum is the best thermal compound, trust us

deposit for me to send them the fucking card? I have never heard of such a thing.

How dense are you? You get the money back once they get the broken GPU back. All while you get a brand new GPU.

Dude... Advance Replacement...

linksys.com/gb/support-article?articleNum=140812#a2

oh so it's to speed up them sending me a new one? I didn't have that option mate. Asus didn't even allow this card's serial number to be used on their own website to handle the warranty. they made me go through the shop, and use them as the middle man.

Oh 'e's an Australian.

Good luck mate.
