stfu 2DPD

>(((currrent year)))
We already have since gtk3.

show me

You should try out a tiling WM.
Maybe you won't be so grouchy then.

Not even mad, you're just a pleb who can't even English properly.

*swats you away with a rolled up newspaper*

Hey kitty cats cmon, why so hostile?
It's Sunday, lets enjoy the last of the weekend while we can.

...

>do you even a file preview the the file picker?
what did he mean by this

Like I said in the last thread. Why are you trying to use this if you're going to be such a fucking idiot.
Just use Ubuntu if yourengoing to be a cunt.

No, it's the power of your ISP + Chromium + the kernel's IPV4/IPV6 handling.

It has a lot more to do than just the kernel.

>+ browser
>+ kernel's IPv4/IPv6 handling

You're silly

We had this thread yesterday and you successfully solved that. You're not fooling anyone. I'm just wondering how much you're being paid for all the smearing.

Great file picker you got there. Make sure you remember all the file names before you post.

Who gives a fuck? It shows pictures.
Using descriptive file names is recommended
practice anyway.

>Using descriptive file names is recommended practice anyway.
Sure. When you don't have a working file picker that's what you have to do.

Whatever helps you sleep at night senpai :^)

No, that's the power of your internet connection.

A working file picker does.

>damage control

Nigger, xiaomi is the best thing available

>Thinks his OS has to do with how fast his dl speed is
It does. There's this thing called drivers, and a poor implementation of wireless drivers obviously affects speed.

Don't forget

>me : fish

Even if you have the thumbnails / previews / large icons / whatever you call it, it still takes time to find images if you dump everything in the same directory.
You should do both.
If it takes too long to rename files, you use directories.
I use KDE so I can use both, their file picker is so much better, even Qt seems like dogshit when you have used both.

tfw using arch w/ i3-gaps and never have experienced an issue :)

Pretty sure we just had this thread and you was proved to be spreading FUD for no reason.

If by any means you're interested in actual help go to the linux friendly thread or the stupid question thread, follow the rules and stop being passive-agressive. Otherwise the best you'll get is for someone to do a google search for you.

I'm use KDE too and this is the way it should be done.

What's that download extension called?

>no preview
>no way to set the zoom level on those previews or change the list mode
>no filtering on the filenames
>preview only on the selected file, meaning you have to hover all files to find it.

My problem with the GTK file dialog is not that GTK is bad programmers, (probably why they target C programmers).
The problem is that the file dialog is constructed in a bad way.
I don't think the file dialog should be a part of the toolkit at all.
The good design would be to have it be a separate project. You basically call an application with a pointer to the path and to the filename, maybe adding more features, such as default filter or whatever features are available.

This way, each toolkit could provide this, and the user could replace it with whatever they want, making the file dialog identical across all applications, sharing the same config, same links, same features.
I know this adds overhead, but it would make it easier to fix applications without rewriting all of them.

>all that wasted space

>not using Ubuntu
found ur problem bud :^)

It's not that bad. By the way, reply when you have a working file picker.

You can resize the "Places" widget, nigger.

d-did you keep your feet warm senpai?

>wireless

I'm much more worried about that font rendering, OP.

gtk fags on suicide watch

No, the problem here is obviously Linux. Windows handles them fine.

What is the name the little icons on your I3 bar?
They look really nice.
