What is the best music player for mac?

itunes

Jriver Media Centre

itunes > *. I use it even on windows because of the way it organizes music. and I constantly check out the iTunes Store to find new music (and then download it off what.cd)

I'm not 100% sure if they're available on macOS but foobar2000 & MusicBee are God-tier and nothing else can compete.

Is there any other alternative

I've used swinsian but you might not be willing to shill any money just to listen to music

I used to use clementine but 30% cpu usage just to listen to music is a bit much

Seconded for Swinsian - that and Vox

...

iTunes still doesn't have FLAC support, but I use it regardless.

It's such a fucking shame in the last update they decided to remove custom album colors. Now it's all white and shit. For no reason as well, that could be disabled in the previous versions.

convert to alac, plays in iTunes and it's still lossless

If you want flac, Clementine.

iTunes for local collections
Spotify to discover new music

I'm so sorry.

I use iTunes too, there are no better Mac alternatives. If I had to run Windows, I would quite likely still use it because it organises music libraries very well.

My only issue with iTunes is that I can't just set categories or groups in the album view. They're all put together there so I better not have a fuckton of them

>Spotify to discover new music
Jamendo
Shoutplayer
VLC for web-radio

>use itunes
>it deletes all my music
thanks apple

I use Enqueue on my main machine, it's the only one with a non shit UI that handles large FLAC/ALAC libraries and playlists properly.

I use cmus

>Don't know how to use iTunes
>It deletes all my music
thanks apple

Spotify

I use Radiant Player for my Google Music library of shit I have uploaded.
