People actually believe all linux distros are the same

>people actually believe all linux distros are the same

Opensuse doesn't let you use mpv and it doesn't let you turn on the applications menu
manjaro doesn't let you use the japanese ime and the settings suck
gnome on ubuntu is buggy as fuck

linux distros being the same is a myth

All linux distros are the same because they're based on the same linux code senpai

But not all linux distros have the same features, but all linux distros have the core features for everyone like browsing the internet, watching movies, etc.

We have solus now so other distros don't really matter anymore.

>Opensuse doesn't let you use mpv
Really? Why and how?

OP is just retarded.

I do like fedora though. It was my first Linux after my high school ran redhat some 10 years ago. Solid system but the release cycle is a bit too quick for my tastes.

Shut up, Kevin.

lol, did solus spammers all get banned? where the fuck is /std/

hey are you the same person who liked fedora too because i like fedora too

not all distros can change the wallpaper

post that wallpaper pls

okay

still willing to sell my soul for nichijou folder

But the one common theme is that they all suck.

I dont have the bandwidth to upload it

i guess i don't have the means to give you my soul either

thank you

They're all the same because they're all shit compared to Windows 10.

I like linux distros that have a gui for asking me to please update, but when I agree to update, they ask for password.

How did you get the clear bar at the top? Is the font rendering still abysmal in Fedora 25?

You have to do a lot of things in order to install ffmpeg in Fedora.

man that's ugly

>spic
oh, ok, makes sense

>Opensuse doesn't let you use mpv

Are you talking about the issue where it crashes plasmashell or something ?

Basically you can't close any applications opened anymore and can't click on anything except start menu...

Could you upload that wallpaper, please?
I've been looking for it, but I have yet to find it somewhere else.

Overall I'd say burpees are fun, challenging and a great way to stay in shape

not him but i got u senpai
the backgrounds are straight from /usr/share/backgrounds/f25/default/tvwide

wrong thread buddy

what why did it change f a m to senpai

>have to enable a 3rd party repo just to install chromium

>being this new

shutup ok i only use fa m once a year

>How did you get the clear bar at the top?

i used dynamic panel transparency and you can get shadows on text which i think looks better

extensions.gnome.org/extension/1011/dynamic-panel-transparency/

All distros are the same shit!

thank you user, I'll try it

dude, you have pasta on your desktop lmao

how do you become so edge?

senpai

>Windowbar is 48 fucking pixels tall
>Options are scattered across the topbar and in submenus in the app
I really want to like GNOME but why hasn't this been fixed yet? I really hope Unity 8 doesn't turn out to be a piece of shit.

Linux distros are the same because they're all complete shit and you're an autistic psycho for using it as your desktop OS

>but why hasn't this been fixed yet?
Because it's Gnome, it has to suck somehow.

>You have to do a lot of things in order to install ffmpeg in Fedora.

Fuck off, ffmpeg is easy to install on fedora. Stop using Fedora and go back to your baby's first distro.

I used Fedora since F21, and I remember having to compile ffmpeg because rpmfusion either didn't have it or didn't work properly. I'm just on Arch now, which is a much easier distro to use and the AUR is pretty great. The install is obviously the hardest part, but it isn't that difficult once you understand it.

Fedora sucks due to its progressive updates. Getting a new kernel every week that kills my video card drivers and I can't boot gets annoying after a while.

What was the issue?
