You don't need systemDicks to use mpd

Deadbeef

Deadbeef

right i remember, you need systemd to autostart it but you do need your own mpd user account on your system to run the mpd daemon

He can't escape botnet
kekkity kek

100% incorrect

>Le ebic systemd oppser hippie

arch wiki says the typical way to run mpd is systemwide. per-user is an a non-typical use

>Le ebic systemd shill
Go back to sucking lennart's cock

Suck mine little faggot

>le ebic my arch boots 2 sec fastar!!!!!!!11!!1

>typical
Don't present the typical way as the only way to run it. Also, mpd has no dependence on systemd.

>MUUH 37 YEAR OLD UNIX MEME PHILOSOPHY XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

>MUH BLOATED CANCEROUS NSA BACKDOORED PIECE OF SHIT

arch wiki is pretty on the ball when it comes this stuff. maybe youre a special snowflake who does it the per-user way but 9/10 times people are doing it the mpd user/systemd way so its reasonable to assume so

>MUH 128 MiB FLOPPY DRIVE OS WITH FOR SHITPOSTING IN NSA-CHAN BEHIND 77 ENCRYPTED RANDOM PROXY SIMULATORS :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

You do not need systemd at all. You can use systemd if you like but mpd devs haven't gone autistic enough to make it necessary.

>arch is the only the distro people use
I run it system wide on my Funtoo install without using systemd
