That Asus have once again produced a mediocre card which is barely quieter than the reference model. It's a brand of overpriced gaymer shit. Even out of the three big brands they're well behind MSI and Gigabyte in terms of build quality when it comes to graphics cards.
Anybody who owns anything Asus beyond a motherboard (which they do excel at) bought it purely for the brand name. Their monitors are fucking trash with terrible QC too.

OP is comparing a 980TI, which actually benches stronger than the 1060 in some situations.
get the 980ti
it has insane overclocking performance, even more than a 1070. It's on par in almost ever scenario
1070 is better than a 980ti, but you should be able to get some great deals on a 980ti atm, and its still a very fast card.
