You guys told me if I was going to get the network+ that I might as well go for the CCNA

Well, pic related arrived, here I go.

Managed to get a cisco 1921 from a customer. Do I use this purely for PPPOE with a firewall behind it or just use it as an "all in one"?

Any good resources on correctly configuring one?

Alright, how do I set up gns3 and is it worth it

I connected my router/ap to my modem/router/ap via wan. They are in the same subnet. They both have dhcp on. router/ap is in gateway mode.

Is this fine ?

>Install from repo
>Select folder with firmware images
>Wow you're done

Thanks for making this
t. OP from the previous thread

Also for black Friday I got 2x 10g dual port Chelsio NICs for 37$. Hopefully they work well. The Mellanox ones were EOL and had terrible BSD support. Gonna use a generic direct attach cable between them

>PPPoE
Why user? VLANs + /30 is better IMO

I tried setting it up before but I couldn't find an IOS image.
do you know where I could get them?

afaik yes but it is very inefficient design
put ap in bridge and connect on the lan port of the ap. set gw to modem

The ones I have were given to me personally under promise of secrecy. Google/torrents should yield results. If you know anyone with a cisco account you can ask them to pass you some from the official site.

Let it be known that picrelated is the only acceptable standard.

Oh I got an IP can for 61.4$ from Jet
Dahua 3MP 3.6mm. Should be nice to make it work with Bluecherry. I have 2 Hikvisions just set up as well

if you still have them would it be possible for you to toss them mega?

I found these on the honeypot bay, but they're 3-4 years out of date. Downloading them anyway.

Here is the physical portion of my CCIE lab:
-2950x1 Cisco Cata Switch
-3750x2 Cisco Cata Multi-layer Switches (sometimes running StackWise)
-5505x1 Cisco ASA
-2851x3 Cisco Integrated Service Routers
-Netgear N-150 Wireless Router
-7940x2 Cisco VoIP phones
-Raspberry Pi as NTOP / TFTP server
-Windows Box as PRTG server / SPAN port-mirroring

The rest of my lab studies will be done through GNS3 and INE's rack rentals.

Here is a pic

ccna guy here
is this overkill or is this really the bare/recommended minimum for the CCNA cert

I said CCIE not CCNA

oh my bad
could I get away with just gns3 and a catalyst switch for the CCNA?

Yea you would be fine with that IMO
The more immersed you are the better though so don't go full jew when buying a lab

Make that two catalyst switches and you're golden.

>IPFS
what does this have over any other P2P?

My internet is too shit to upload them any time soon. They aren't any newer either.

>promise of secrecy
you're a retard, there is nothing identifing in the images

if you google the image name for whatever device you want, you can generally find them. if you cant just go back 1 or 2 versions and they'll be somewhere, and a lot newer than a 3+ year old image

>you're a retard, there is nothing identifing in the images
But there's things identifying me if I upload them, derrr

>But there's things identifying me if I upload them, derrr
no there isnt. thinking cisco images are something special

>no there isnt
Tell me more about this wonderful world without IP adresses and websites that don't store your information

>I'm pretending i can do something with a IOS image
>I think cisco is monitoring every connection to see who is pirating images

Hmm, I wonder who could be behind this post.

Someone who actually has cisco gear at home, rather than a copy of gns3 who doesnt even know how to use it

Why would you even have cisco stuff at home?
>you don't know!
Top fucking kek

If you're so carefree upload the images and see how it goes.

If the fag wants the images i have I would

fak u

CCNA guy again I'm desperate for the images

I have Catalyst 3560G, 3750E, Aironet 1140 and ASA 5510. Which do you want?

man, I'd like them all if you're feeling generous

I just passed CCIE. I can now stop being a stocker at Wal Mart.

Thoughts on turning my FX 4130 into a server?

IOS

ASA

If you need something else, as I said before, go to Cisco's downloads site, find the device you want an image for, google the file name and generally some place is hosting it.

I'm hoping to become a cashier at the dollar store with my ccna

also check out certcollection.org they have tons of pirated images

>decide to setup a Cisco Prime Infrastructure VM
>no devices added or being monitored, just going through the initial setup
>choose the express config with only 4 vCPUs and 12GB RAM
>pic related
