In 2010 or 2011, a PTP user called TnS made an upload bot. At first, only ScreaminJay and TnS were using it. It was really shitty, as in a lot of uploads were faulty, got trumpable status or the bot uploaded dupes. But, it was fully automatic, it even did stuff while you were asleep, so it was a gem. So I configured the bot, written in python, on my OVH special edition server that cost like $10/mo. I had already gotten access to a lot of scene trackers, and Awesome-HD and GFT and too, so I had plenty of material to upload onto PTP. PTP started doing upload contests and the contest entries got automatic freeleech, which meant your uploads would always get snatched. That's the story of how I got TK on PTP. By the way, the staff (unclesalty, esophagus, Nuked) they all really hated the bot users. I got warned a few times and I knew ScreaminJay received a few too. PTP changed a lot for the better when paperk became Sysop. He basically kept the other dickhead staff in check, and assigned good new devs and staff. Paperk also forced the other staff to change some dupe rules and some other rules, cause those were retarded back then. That was what ultimately made PTP succeed because it made room on the movie listings for HDBits/Awesome-HD/HiDt encodes AND for HANDJOB encodes and the high quality SD encoding group from PTP, I forgot the name, oh yeah TBB probably
