first for kenzo is shit. Praise 5X MEME.

Its a quite cheaper, but it has smaller screen, no edges, worse camera and much worse battery.

I'm not really looking for alternative to mi note 2, I'm more curious if buying "flagship" china phones is good idea in general. Its no big deal if 150$ phone breaks in a year, but are more expensive china phones just as good as traditional phones ?

there are only shitphones on the market in the

I installed Nova on my new Honor 7, and wallpapers are all coming out like this. Any ideas?

Buy kate instead you dumb nigger, 4G LTE works on the entire world and some amerifat carriers.

>5X
>a shit bootlooping LG device with no SD slot for 250 when you could get a S7/HTC10 for 400 or a G4 Play/RN3P for 150 or less

McFucking kill yourself

Did you replace it the right way?
youtube.com/watch?v=iHmr7RJ_pi8

I know nova fucked up the resizing but it looks cooler that way.

EMUI is ass with custom launchers and some widgets, notably uccw and klwp.

Any good phones for 300 USD? Currently looking at the Nexus 5x, any better options?

>look at carriers list of supported bands
>look at potential new phone's supported bands
>they match
>carriers website doesn't list phone as supported

???

 iOS doesn't have this issue.

Yes

>be me
>September
>got kenzo, europe btw
>caller not reachable 90% of time
>shit this
>replace with kate
>exa-fucking-ctly same problem
>insta-drop
>get 5x
>cozy af

Go to Nova settings - Desktop - Wallpaper scrolling and select Force. That's it.

>get 5x
so sorry for your loss

a lot of carriers, especially american ones, have to go through their own approval process
it's pretty much anti-consumerism but hey that's carriers 4 ya

CDMA cuck detected.

Honor 8 is like 250€ right now, good buy?

Yeah I'm murrican and this is dumb
GSM actually

I'm going to contact my carrier and just ask them outright if the phone will work before I buy it.

Thanks a bunch, works great.

Looking for a new phone to replace my old cracked Nexus 5

budget around $500 cad

Currently undecided between the Axon 7 which newegg has for $470 and the OnePlus 3T which is actually $600 cad. Don't know if its worth the extra $130 though.

Freedom (Wind) Network, but will probably switch assuming public mobile comes back.

>so sorry for your loss

y tho?

Freedom has new bands btw.
Also Public Mobile is back, unless you mean the deal they just had.

dw sweetie, all in due time.

I mean the deal they got.

IIRC the only new band is Wind's new 22 LTE, which only like 3 phones support atm.

Is the RedMi Note 4 good?

tinydeal.com/xiaomi-redmi-note4-pro-3gb-ram-mtk6797-deca-core-android-60-4g-phone-p-161395.html

OP3T definitely, if not HTC 10, Axon 7 isn't worth that much money, they need to drop it to 399 like the OP3 if they want it to sell like hotcakes.

My only issue with OnePlus is them cucking us out of an sd slot, SD821 with 6 GB of ram, 1080p, 3500 mAh battery and a hypothetical extra 128-256 GB of storage on top of the 64 it already has could easily last you 7 years, even more if you don't drop it like a spaz and replace the battery with an extended one once the one you have dies.

I think it's still (unofficially) supported until the 30th. But you pretty much had to have ordered the sim card already.

Nope because mediakek, either RN3P kate or Redmi 4 Prime if you have trump hands.

>insult the god emperor
>suddenly the next 15 captchas are illegible or blurry as shit

suck my dick fbi

for reference, the OP3 is 400usd, but 520 cad

*making the Axon 7 350usd (470cad)

Features? Usage? Read the first line of the OP?

I bought a 3T also to replace a Nexus 5 in canada, ama

Xiaomi mi note 2, yes or no? I'm thinking of getting this badboy because I like curved screens, but I'm not sure if it is good idea to buy China phone that is as expensive as traditional phones

>smartphone general
My ass. This is chinkphone general. Take your chink shit to the chink shit general please.

Oh Axon 7 then, I thought it was 600 freedom tickets over there, with those specs that was some google pixlel XL levels of jewery.

medium usage, taking pictures, maybe some games.

Did you stretch for the additional warrenty for the OP3T? and how long did shipping take?

>mediakek

boi I literally have no clue what you are talking about.

Why not an s6 or s7 edge? The camera will be much better too.

Mediatek means no custom roms (MIUI is botnet and utter shit) and worse battery consumption than the SD650/820 they usually put in xiaomi phones.

I just happened to need a replacement for my LG G4 and all thr flagship phones are overpriced garbage, I'm used to huge screens now

*giggles*
dont b jelly

s7 is too expensive for me, even mi note2 is really pushing my limits (that's why I'm so hesitant). S6 is too small, super weak battery and a bit dated hardware.

Whats the best phone for cyanogenmod?

Camera on the 3T is much, much better than the nex5 one, battery will definitely last you a day+ if you're not a heavy user, the phone is insanely fast with the few games I've tried with it, no tearing/stuttering at all. Literally the only issue I have with it at all is that some of the viewing angles aren't the best; if you tilt it like, 45 degrees the colours get pretty awful.

I didn't go for a warranty no, and shipping took 2 days (bought on the 22nd arrived midday on the 24th; I'm in the GTA).

Yes.

Is there any interesting news about Xiaomi Mi6?
Thanks.

Third, obviously.
No doubt.

Any android phone Cheaper and more powerful that the droid turbo?

Xiaomi mi4c
yay or nay ?

It's the only Xiaomi phone that is available in my country, aside from mi5

I don't use a case, never have. Maybe I should.

jesus tho, $670 after taxes eh.

Does Gearbest help to dodge taxes and custom duty for Europoors? I normally don't don't pay attention to that shop because its always more expensive that aliexpress, but this time they 20% off phone I'm looking for.

Also is it bad idea to pay for presale? How often are delays or cancelations in such deals?

>Cozy

Probably because of the SD808 and shit tier battery

right here

*unzips dick*

Gay.
Have one. Be sure, worth every penny. Doesn't matter how many Xiaomi devices is available in your country.
The best purchase for ~$120.

Yeah it's pricey, by I like my phones to last 3 years minimum.

S6 edge?

The xiaomi phones tend to have really mediocre cameras (on a good day).

Youre a big guy

Zuk z2.
Or if you're on a super strict budget, redmi 4 prime.

Nova>R4P.

No, gearbest a shit. use flosmall or honorbuy with eu shipping protection.

Just bought this, what am I in for?
I use to choose high price flagships but that "honor" on the bottom is just too based

is huawei p9 lite worth 250 Euro?

>Nova>R4P.
Care to elaborate? Nova has a smaller battery than the r4p.

And I hae no fucking idea how good huawei is with software updates.

(I assume that the nova phones were actually intented to be the pixel phones, they look so good).

Alright /spg/, this Thursday I get paid, so I'll be buying myself a zuk z2 pro.

But since I've got 2 days, I was wondering. Any phones with better camera at that price and similar battery life?

What about long term support in the case of the ZUK? Custom ROM scene seems pretty much dead, with only a few unofficial releases by XDA pajeets.

You won't have to deal with flashing roms and unlocking bootloaders and all that shit you have to do on Xiaomi phones. the Redmi 4 doens't even have a global rom yet so your'e stuck with the Chinese rom with all the bloatware.

Also MiUi in general is a buggy mess. EMUI 5 is much more stable and better.

Not really, you can buy Honor 8 for that much which is much better.

zukfans.eu/community/forums/zuk-z2.5/

What's the best camera on the phone currently? This is the only parameter I care for honestly

>huawei

based as fuck

It's getting monthly updates user. Nougat is in the works and estimated to be here by early q1 next year.

Samsung s7 probably

youtube.com/watch?v=W4zTNWKFPpM

Even the Honor 8 has a better camera.
P9 too.

>OP3T 128GB already sold out
fuck I should have expected this

What about other aspects like battery life, build quality, and performance?

I have a friend who had some huawei a couple of years ago. The color started fading off and it started looking really bad, which is why I'm hesitant to get huawei.

Sure, but
>ZUI
Pretty much every review says it's shit. Anyways, I'm concerned about how the situation will look like a couple years from now on. I try to keep my phones as long as possible and wouldn't want to be stuck with an old version of Android after development stopped. I'm between the Z2 and the RN3P, and this is what has me gravitating towards the Xiaomi.

>Also MiUi in general is a buggy mess. EMUI 5 is much more stable and better.
And I have no idea if nova will ever receive it. I think I should just wait a bit longer.

I played the waitgame for for half a year now, a bit longer won't hurt me.

Google Pixel

Just looked it up. That battery life is a dealbreaker for me, sorry user.

I am looking for purchase advice. My Nexus 5 is dying on me.
I live in Norway. I just want something not to expensive as I just need a phone to read emails, surf the web and language apps, nothing heavy. I prefer to have no bloat and enjoy the Nexus brand for this, but it seems that the Nexus 5x have a poor battery and the Nexus 6 is to big.

Anything that's cheap and with little bloat that's not shit?

Does anyone have Honor 8 rooted and with xposed working?
Thinking of upgrading from a Z3c.

Oukitel k6000 pro rom is almost stock. I came from a nexus 5 too and the sudden increase in battery life is still blowing my mind.

>all these honor 8 posts
I thought huawei wasnt popular in america?

huawei recently surpassed samsung in smartphone sales

It works nicely?
Sounds good and white cheap as well. Thanks.

Yep.
Mine tends to get ~10 hours SoT over 3 days with brightness hovering around ~30%

I usually plug it in before it goes under 14% too.

Holding it in my hand right now, AMA if you want.

Screenshots of UI?

How's the size compared to Nexus 5? I don't like my phone's to big.
What is you general feel of it and how do you compare it to Nexus 5?
Any weaknesses I should know about?
Does it get very hot?
Anything else that you think is relevant?

it's for $180 here. Even if i order one from Chiyna i have to pay $40 tax to register it's IMEI number so that i can use it in my country

Mi4c it is then

How do you get HD video out of an iphone/smartphone???

I tried drop box (compressed beyond shit).

I tried email (compressed beyond shit).

I tried connecting the usb to my laptop (Apple won't let you see any of the files on the Iphone).
I tried buying Filmic and setting the resolution to 4k (compressed beyond shit).

What the fuck man?
Didn't someone make a fucking hollywood movie (Tangerine) on a fucking Iphone?
What the fuck gives?

Not him but it's fuckhuge, it weighs like 220 gram. and 10mm thick.

custom recording software

iTunes you buffoon.

Here you go.
> inb4 4g4g

It's quite a bit bigger, not unusable with one hand but not as comfy either.
It feels really well made, the screen looks much nicer than the nexus, the camera is a little worse though.
It gets very warm while charging AND using at the same time, but I haven't seen it go over 60°c yet. I think it just feels hot like from the metal chassis transmitting the heat more than the plastic back on my nexus.

It has a few quirks, for example, I've noticed that some bluetooth devices take longer to connect than they did on my nexus, but some connect even faster.

The battery can also take some time to charge, ~3.5 hours for me since the stupid aliexpress seller didn't ship my phone with a pump express charger, but I still think it's worth it.

I like it more than my nexus 5.

Hmnm. That might be a problem. A huge battery sounded nice, but I don't want to drag around a brick.
I want something light, strong battery, with no bloat and cheap. But if I want that I guess I have to drop cheap ㅠㅠ

Redmi 4 prime is 5" and quite small. 10-11h SOT. and you don't have to carry a brick on you.
youtube.com/watch?v=SWBtfsJ-Lg4

I will consider it. Thanks for the input.
Any other popular (enough) phone that is comparable in size and weight? I would love to try it out first before I decided. Since this is so niche I have to buy it from abroad.

220g isn't that bad, my hand doesn't get tired of holding it on the 1.5 hour trip to and from work.

Those reviews are shit. I had a redmi 3 and struggled to get more than 8 hours SoT per charge despite what /csg/ and /spg/ claimed.

Can't think of anything off the top of my head, sorry. Most phones these days are just getting thinner and flatter.

why did I buy a smart phone...

128GB OP3T sold out ;_;

to watch porn on while shitting like a barbarian
