I went with 5820k, rather than the newer Broadwell-e 6800k.
The older chip OCs better, runs cooler at higher clocks and they're nearly identical to begin with.
2 years of difference and Intel has achieved jack shit.
So makes no sense to wait, you're not going to see the prices drop on the older hardware and the newer stuff won't be bringing anything groundbreaking to the market, that's a guarantee at this point.

its too fucking large to use for games this close, but productivity wise shits amazing. Still considering returning it and going with a 32-34" ultrawide though
