CAN'T STOP THE SUSA

Me, using tumbleweed + GNOME !

>20 days before 2017
>still on 4.4

This , upgrade your kernel lazy fucker

It was Suse who revealed to me the beauty of her spinning cubes.
It was all it took to kwin my heart.

but fampai that's the current LTS kernel

Their rolling release is on 4.8.12 desu~

Is openSuse good? And if so, what are the advantages?

Having the coolest mascot

btrfs for / by default, built in snapshot capability, openQA, rolling and stable release, one click installers for non-libre software
openPEPE is bretty gud senpai

It has the best logo

I will join the master race on my Christmas holiday ;^*

Tumbleweed and MATE here

>tfw I'm still using 3.13

I don't see the problem, though.

What about it? Is it really such a good distro?

you're probably vulnerable to like 100 different exploits but that's fine if you like getting cucked i guess

Office Depot reporting in.

Literally nothing.

cool

tumbleweed or gtfo

What do you like about it

? Also, is it possible to change the default btrfs to the extended linux fs?

I've been using Opensuse since before it was good.

kek. I just threw it off my drive. Felt good.

Fix your fonts my man sapiengames.com/2014/12/26/how-to-fix-font-rendering-in-opensuse/

>uptime less than hour

congrats kiddo, now install real distro for actual use

oops wrong image sorry

> one click installers for non-libre software
is the default install fully libre?

>willingly running the RHEL beta testing OS

holy Shit, I used to work at office depot, their hardware systems are HORRIBLE.

at least my uptime is counted in days instead of minutes like in and

Nice, I guess you can snapshot these subvols separately, which makes sense. Also I think hardlinks can't cross subvol boundaries so it can mitigate hardlink attacks somewhat.

>muh uptime
who the fuck cares?

>I'm proud that I'm wasting electricity to boost my e-peen
Unless it's a server, having days worth of uptime is just stupid.

>germans
only reason to use it is if you are getting your checks signed by suse, or whatever the gmbh is called.

>people unironically use KDE
why

why not?

because it's shit?

I can't take openuse seriously, all I see is openopepe.

you're shit.

that really hurt my feelings user, what the heck

I do. I don't want to restart my computer every time I want to take a screenshot like Suse-homos apparently have to.

it's still better than Ubantoo and other Debian based crap but not the best mind you

What does 4.8 bring over 4.4?

Yep, and with latest amdgpu-pro release for SLES I hope to be playing dying light on opensuse tonight!

You're going to change my life, should I go for Tumbleweed KDE or Gnome? I have bunch of RAM. I want a pretty stable windows like experience.

wallpaper pls

I like KDE myself, openSUSE does it right.

Thanks user! I'm a little bit tired of Windows 10 botnet and I'm looking for a decent alternative. I tried a lot of distros before but I've never tried opensuse I think it's time to change. I still need to use Windows at work but I can always use a vpn and remote desktop to access Bloated Studio 2015.

>muh skylake support

I installed openSUSE this morning and it's fine except wifi config

why the fuck is wifi configuration so shitty?

Is it just KDE's problem?

I'm installing it right now but the live cd wifi manager works fine and it even connected to my network without any troubles which was never a case with ubuntu.

Someone should test wayland too.

I use slackware.
