What music player should I be using instead of Winamp?

What music player should I be using instead of Winamp?

Musicbee

foobar2000 or MusicBee, both are God-tier.

why change from the best?

I'm trying AIMP since it seems to be pretty much winamp.

I may go back to winamp though since I have been using it for decades.

Winamp 2.95 oughtta be enuff for anybody.

MusicBee is literally perfect since they fixed the freezing music issue

this program was so perfect from the beginning it has not needed to change in any way since the mid 1990s

Confession:
>For years I thought people were discussing Metroid when I saw this symbol.

We all moved to Play Music

Too bad they don't have a desktop player. Would be nice to be able to sync my library and playcounts

MusicBee is what my quick research has led me to and it seems like everything I'm looking for. The praise here puts it over the top for me.

Now for the hassle of loading up my music library, a process not dissimilar to detangling a ball of Christmas lights.

all you do for musicbee is tell it what folders to scan for music then it imports it all...

Firefox

I know, but my music folder is a complete mess of disorganized subfolders and shitty filenames.

I also had Winamp set up so all of my soundtracks were segregated to a separate library. Gotta figure out how to get something like that going in Music Bee.

Winamp. New release soon.

nothing wrong with Winamp

Musicbee can reorganize your folder structure

Audacious

The better question is where to find Winamp with all the newest codecs

I guess I should have checked back here before going through everything manually.

I use foobar since I can customize it the way I want and it supports native video game formats.
