I'm using Halite (even if it's ded) without any problems. Convince me it's better.
Angel Martinez
qBittorrent is actively supported by many contributors and a full time maintainer. Halite is a dead client who had only one author.
It's always best to use an actively supported client, not something dead.
Feature request for 4 years now. Also >no overall statistics over the WebUI
Fix this, chocoboii
Elijah Green
Fix it yourself. Don't you code?
Brayden Martin
I don't, is this a wontfix?
Sebastian King
That's a very low priority feature.
Jacob Reyes
somebody make an appimage quick! my appimage is 3.3.7 and is therefore outdated now
Charles Sullivan
Still can't selectively download files in a multi-file torrent without also downloading files you have specifically told it not to download. Useless app
Wyatt Mitchell
Casual torrent user detected
Jacob Carter
>implying RSS is advanced
I use private trackers with autodl-irssi. on my NAS. You are the pleb there.
Nathaniel Morales
Thanks for the update OP.
Brayden Bennett
wooaahh showed me, mastur haxxor
Blake Thomas
how is transmisson? how do they compare?
Lucas Russell
transmission is way more stable but has less features.
Cameron Smith
>no sequential downloads without unofficial patches
Jaxson Davis
Did they fix the thing that makes the GUI freeze every few seconds?
Luis Gomez
I dunno. try it out.
Benjamin Anderson
Why do you need that shit? Are you on public trackers?
Jackson Phillips
transmission-qt is better for windows. rtorrent (and transmission if you must have gui) is better for gnu/linux.
Jeremiah Brooks
Deluge is still better, same as always.
Dylan James
>try to download it >download stalls
Alexander Reyes
This is true. Transmission-qt has less features but it doesn't have the bugs found in qbit.
Matthew Powell
>transmission-qt It's not, Transmission-qt is trash, thanks to Qt Transmission for Windows was shaping up decently for a barebones GUI client >rtorrent Perfect for NAS/Seedbox/Server usage >transmission Again, no features at all
Nathaniel Evans
Qbittorrent is qt-based
Liam Myers
Yeah, but it actually has features unlike Transmission
Jackson Powell
What features? Transmission is all you need.
Blake Hughes
Yeah, for the really occasional torrent, and even then you're missing sequential downloading/streaming Transmission is as barebones as it gets, it can only download torrents, it doesn't even have tags or any way to automate folder selection
Colton Gray
Sequential downloading is for poorfucks on public trackers who download from pajeets with a slow connection. Tags are pointless when you have a search function and folders are pointless because you should be organizing media with a separate utility or media server software.
Honestly those features you speak of are rather pointless.
Oliver Gutierrez
>private tracker >transmission wew lad
Justin Stewart
>any year >using qstalledmeme AHAHAHAHAHAHAAA
Aiden Miller
>Sequential downloading is for poorfucks on public trackers
I use it to sample the quality of videos before I download the entire thing. Saves ratio and data if you have a cap.
Nathan White
If you can't tell the quality from the torrent listing you need to fuck off and stop torrenting because every person who torrents here knows what is good and what is shit from experience.
Nathan Hill
just make qBittorrent seed more already
Grayson Myers
This app and its icon are so damn ugly. I wouldn't use it under the gun.
Jaxson Reed
Switch to a non-shit client
Mason Gray
When will it show up in Xenial???
Fuck, I can't wait. Sounds awesome.
qB > *
Ian Bennett
>Deluge is still better, same as always. Deluge is fucking garbage. I used it for a month before discovering qB and Deluge is not even in the same league as qB. Even uTorrent is much better than Deluge.
what's so hard about using native icons for all that generic shit?
Chase Baker
If you give this much of a shit, you should complain about it on their github page until it gets done.
Jason Foster
It's FOSS. You could offer them money and they'd still say "do it yourself, this is my hobby".
Brayden Rivera
>stalled i just want my yaoi anime goddamnit
Chase Davis
Then use your brain and actually start a compelling github issue that that other people will support along with you or even take an interest in contributing a pull request for.
Easton Anderson
Use the PPA, brother.
Jayden Flores
All praise be unto the One True Client!
Samuel White
Thanks bro! Just installed 3.3.8!
Isaiah Green
2.2.1 and I don't give a fuck.
Henry Reyes
>started using Deluge >got 1/3 of the connections I get with qB now >never downloaded anywhere near my max download speed great client you got there
Parker Lee
Use this to make it respect your icon theme and file-dialog too, not just the theme.
You're both idiots. They use the same torrent library which means connection wise they're pretty much the same.
Easton Peterson
Tixati is still the best.
Dominic Gray
tixati is hot garbage
Jonathan Gonzalez
>meanwhile at the qBittorrent forums
Connor Collins
I'm gonna get it when it arrives on the stable release channel. No need to fret it. For now the previous version is gonna be enough.
Brandon Reed
>meanwhile, at the qBittorrent github page
Julian Morgan
It's been explained a thousand times. The forums aren't meant for "bug" reports. No one reads the forums anyway. Use the issue tracker on Github. It has already been explained on there.
Inform yourself before posting.
Isaiah Foster
WOW! Been looking for something like this for ages! Gonna give this a go... one sec!
Thanks again bro!
Nathaniel Thompson
>Actively searching for stalled >less than 100 open issues out of 2000 issues > most of those results aren't even relevant (11 relevant results out of 25 shown) >newer one is 25 days old Yeah, no, your argument is irrelevant
Dominic Young
>being this in denial
Cooper Ross
Why don't you just compile it yourself with your own better icons.
Isaiah Clark
Enjoy your stalling, qcucks.
Colton Turner
Ehi, works on my machine and on 99% of other machines.
Enjoy using worse alternatives because of the forced stalled meme, your loss
Hunter Clark
>try it out >torrent download stops every time after a few seconds
wew
Robert Brooks
Does it still fuck your profile up on unclean shutdown?
Logan Sanders
Enjoy getting cucked by your cuckoldry, qcuck. I'll be downloading stuff faster on utorrent 2.2.1, made by whites for whites. Basically, utorrent is the redpilled Republican Trump voter and qcuck is the bluepilled libcuck Hillary voter.
Colton Kelly
>implying you can't sequential DL on private trackers
Thomas Turner
i wanted use something newer but all these clients feels so bloated and cluncky
Asher Brown
Except this one, it's the whole point
Wyatt Morgan
>2016 >not using rtorrent
Nicholas Myers
sorry, I use deluge
Luis Jackson
>Except this one
Dominic Bell
Well, for today's standards, I guess.
Justin Carter
can you create torrents with 16mb piece size with µtorrent 1.8.5?
Parker Phillips
nope, 4mb max
Ethan Diaz
Your qBit came with pasta???
Share it, user!
Josiah Wilson
I'm a ethno-nationalist Trump supporter but uTorrent is owned by Bittorrent which is a Jewish run company so sorry Shlomo, but you are wrong.
Andrew Carter
I'm no good with computers; this PGP thing that can come with qB is a sort of encryption thing but what's it encrypt? I don't think I really need it.
Daniel Ramirez
>Not counting windows install size utorrent does not use its own libraries instead it uses a huge amount of windows native ones, it's comparable to a glorified shell script in that respect and thus absolutely useless outside of the windows ecosystem. qBittorrent provides its own libraries that it needs to be usable in more than one operating system, simple as that. In that sense your claim of "bloat" is absolute horseshit.
Jacob Carter
Good goyim, support (((free software))) and (((open source))) just like comrade (((Richard Stallman))) says to.
Xavier Thomas
Jews run both open source and closed source but I'm not trusting a Jew-run company like BitTorrent.
Alexander Torres
kek, that's exactly my experience with qbitstalled
Alexander Robinson
> rtorrent with rtcontrol
Xavier Jackson
It's called qStalledmeme
Thomas Russell
Thank God i'm on GNU/Linux and I have Transmission-gtk.
James Murphy
I use this. Thanks for making me feel good about my choices.
Justin Russell
Windows defender reported a trojan on the latest update
>Trojan:Win32/Mefurac.E!cl
Anyone else get this?
Brody Sullivan
>Windows shit lmao
Transmission GOAT.
Cooper Perry
>stalls without reasoning, devs deny it all the time >terrible seeding habits >sometimes randomly stops DLing something for no apparent reason >randomly freezes at times
I used to seed around 1k torrents on private trackers, but when I finally made the full transition to Linux I stopped using it and learned how to use rtorrent. Best decision ever. I'm no expert when it comes to libtorrent and I have no idea what the qbit devs do, but if they want to become somewhat relevant they should invest time where the problem lies.
Chase Wright
Until it gets decent blocklists support, with auto update from network locations etc...I will use Deluge and Transmission. Come on guys, just do the exact same blocklists features as those foss clients in qBT.
Eli Powell
>Transmission
What happened to the Windows version that was being developed?
Henry Barnes
>qBittorrent v3.3.9 was released containing hotfixes.
Juan Adams
It looks so dull and washed out. I prefer the old one by far. The only thing I don't like about the current theme is the ugly toolbar icons at the top (i think they're the ones from kdes oxygen theme or something).
