Android has better software for touch devices if you want to watch videos or read manga.

Gamecube/PS2 emulation on the go

I can run Photoshop.

Installing Linux on them.

it can actually be used for productivity and isn't just a large unwieldy phone with none of the portability.

Windows has Chrome browser which works perfectly on a Windows tablet. That Chrome browser has actual adblockers like Ublock Origin or ABP unlike the crap on Android.

Windows tablets also have actual media players like mpc-hc/mpv unlike the crap on Android which is never updated.

how do you get lightning on windows?

Android firefox has addon support, so you can use ublocko on android. The rest mostly yes but there are latex ""distros"" for android, so you can get at least some work done. Also tmux is a thing.

Many Chink tablets have Android and Windows installed.

>Android has better software for touch devices
Android is fucking shit on tablet and you know it

From a business perspective, a lot of software is only windows compatible but is nicer to run on a tablet instead of an actual computer.

What is the purpose of Android/Ios tablets if you can just get an 5.5" phone?

Windows tablet can be turn into full-fledged laptop after plugging in keyboard and mouse

Windows slates by the way have dropped DRAMATICALLY in availability and vertually everybody is making windows tablets with a keyboard.

Android tablets are a meme because most of the phones are already 5-6"

I got the Cube i7 stylus tablet and never looked back

Loads cheaper than other tablets at similiar spec

I did a review on it too

I actually had the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 but it came damaged so I sent it back.

also did a review on that.

I mostly just shitpost from my BlackBerry priv. (Which is an excellent phone) with the physical slide out keyboard which rocks

Being able to carry a desktop operating system capable of running real software is wonderful, why would I buy a tablet that can only run a cellphone OS and programs? Besides, most Windows tablets can dualboot Android so should you be a masochist or actually need Android for some reason you're still covered.

Bitlocker, user management (one account for porn), can run x86 desktop programs, UWP apps that do something magical with netflix and other streaming services. Netflix lags on my somewhat powerful i7 windows 7 work laptop in chrome and firefox.

>BlackBerry
Congrats, you had 5 modern keyboard BlackBerries to choose from and by far chose the worst.

but its not though , have you tried it?
I've had mine for a year or so now. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

all the android apps and the BlackBerry keyboard rolled into one. It's an amazing phone.

He's saying that Android > Windows.

I don't have to try it to know it's the worst; it's the only one that runs Android. Plus aren't Privs known for build quality issues and overheating?

What?

A lot of companies stopped making windows slates without keyboards.

Now they just need to start making permanently attached models and we're set, this lack of netbooks is infuriating.

AMA

The build quality is great on mine not had an issues. Also the overheating was when it had the old android OS.
after marshmallow came out. Battery life can last nearly 2 days on casual use and no overheating.

plus android is a better OS (just because it has the apps) unfortunately BlackBerry OS has nothing going for it (as he has limited apps)

I'd suggest you try one out for a couple of weeks and see if you change your mind.

I'm very happy with mine and would not be upgrading until I really have too

Good to hear that the overheating was software but BB10OS is definitely the better OS, both in just comparing the two and when considering app support, BB10OS can also run Android apps. And no, I don't need to try one out. Android's the dealbreaker, I'd probably have a Priv if there was a BB10OS model.

>Android has better software for touch devices if you want to watch videos or read manga.
No.

Seems like a good thread to ask. What's the best way to run android apps on my laptop so I don't have to buy a tablet too. remix OS live USB hangs at boot because it apparently doesn't support skylake yet, chrome extensions don't seem to work for the app I want to use either.

Can I just dual boot in to chrome OS and use android apps on that?

>read manga
Most people don't read manga.
