Where does this shit keep coming from? How do I keep getting it? I'm an experienced computer user, not some retard plen. It just came out of nowhere and Windows Defender caught it, same thing happened a few days ago. I just recently bought the computer off of ebay and was too lazy to format and install a Linux distro. Do I have a rootkit or some shit?

Also worth noting I wasn't even on the internet when those first two showed themselves.

>can't even insult himself properly
kys yourself my friend

It came with it, I told you I was too lazy to format. Windows defender also came with it and apparently stopped 3 "severe" attacks so that's pretty great too.

Oh no..

>svchost.exe

This faggot on Ebay is selling infected computers? I'm just going to nuke the hard drive and install Mint or some shit.

You're an experience computer user that, for some reason, uses Windows exclusively enough to contract a virus, something that would be impossible if you just dual booted and only used Windows when you needed to, such as for gaming, AutoCAD, or Photoshop.

You might be exclusive, but you're dumb as a box of rocks.

I just got the Laptop a few days ago and the only websites I've been on are Sup Forums and shit. Which means I was sold an infected computer, or I somehow got a virus.

Correct. And?

So it's not my fault then? What did I do to cause the problem?

You bought a computer without putting a fresh install on it. You used windows, which is monolithic, rather than modular. And, potentially, you did something you weren't supposed to do, like using Flash or opening an email attachment.

I honestly don't know why you made this thread, because if you are half as experienced as you say you are, you know the solution: Reinstall windows (if you want that OS), dual boot Linux (even retards can get Mint to work, thanks to that google pages guide), and change out all your passwords.

>MsMpEng.exe infected
I would break the guy who sold it you's kneecaps.

Well I'm now installing Linux Mint, Hiren's Boot CD, and Windows 7 to YUMI. Going to nuke the hard drive and change all passwords..

Which is what you should have done from the start.

The system has malware that's set to reinstall itself upon startup. The previous owner probably sold it due to this because they were too poor or stupid to format and reinstall or pay someone to do it so they probably used system restore or some anti-malware software they temporarily removes it until next restart.

Anyways, this is your own fault. It doesn't matter if it came from your brother, grandma, your neighbor if it's ex government property. You always format and reinstall with a clean ISO.

Now does that malware transfer to anything I plug into the computer? Like a flash drive? Probably not right?

Unlikely but possible

Possibly. Which is why Linux should be your default action.

>just recently bought the computer off of ebay and was too lazy to format and install
why is this bait tolerated?

Damn those Russian hackers

From you browsing shitty porn sites

just leave Sup Forums you massive faggot. then kys youre self cuz u dont belong here
