Reddit, all jokes aside.
Whatever is flagged as "fake news" on facebook, all jokes aside.
It's almost 2017 and I still have only been to reddit once or twice.
Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, general social media but you have to pick from many sources before you can establish the truth, all jokes aside.
The news is for jews, all jokes aside
>Facebook
>Twitter
what? im not about to make a facebook just to get news. Twitter doesn't seem good either, and Youtube for news is just a plain no.
I meant sites like Ars Technica, Daily Dot, Huffington post, etc.
HAH! all those sites you mentioned are shit for news, especially the last two.
How is Ars Technica bad?
>Daily Dot, Huffington post
These are both known for their high quality tech journalism, all jokes aside.
cmon Sup Forums i need to fill my list up.
I go through each one before work
It's literally in their name Ass Technic, all jokes aside.
none of those are reliable sources for the news, why do you even care about the news to begin with, all jokes aside.
It's not. But the poltards here on Sup Forums don't like the fact they cover things like climate change and call half the writers a bunch of SJWs because they need safe spaces from conflicting opinions.
Get rid of Daily Dot and Huffington post, all jokes aside.
Don't you see how often they promote snake oil products for their supposed health benefits? same thing with other tech.
>does not want to know whats going on around them or keep up with current events

>conflicting opinions.
opinions aren't truths.
Indeed.
Sup Forumssos subscribe to snowflake views, which essentially means they'll only read things that won't trigger their fantasy world. Everything else is obvously false because (((muh jews))) and """(((""its what they want you to believe)))""")))"""
In general OP, if you dont want to be a mob mentality moron, read numerous sources for news and read up on issues you care about from peer reviewed, published sources and of course.
It literally aggregates from dozens of sites. What about it is shit?
Yes and everytime i do, everyone is trying to sell me something or tell me i need these pills or else my dick will fall off.
The news is just another product of corporations, i get my real news from multiple sources and always try to check myself, it only takes a few minutes and mostly there isn't much news going around these days, most of what they're writing about on those sites is just filler to get you to come because they know that word of mouth is spreading news faster than they can keep up.
Not to mention the straight up slander news sites these days will make up to get you to click on them.
Why do you come back then?
I have no idea what algorithm it has, the news are too much short brained for me.
How can this be changed user?
>100 links trying to sell you linux
Geez you guys sure are getting desperate.
>the news are too much short brained for me
huh?
dank memes
I had hopes for emergent when i heard about it, but it seems like it all but died in march.

>allsides.com
the truth doesn't have sides
It doesn't respect the user freedoms it tracks everything now what the user does and where he goes.
not to mention the censorship
*tips fedora*
Ars generally does good reporting, but they were on the "Gamers Are Dead" propaganda drop in 2014 so it makes them suspect.
Have you seen some of their recent content?
SJW bullshit at its worst
---
Beware that any news format will amplify your cognative biases, it's much better to read two or three long-form pieces a week than to be bombarded by a constant stream of news. Try not to read anything under 1000 words, shorter texts will not aid your understanding of the world around you, because they will not be understood.
Personally I read the new internationalist, and only when the article is marked as "long read" there are other sources as well. Get a monthy magazine and stop with e-news, it isnt good for you.
>so it makes them suspect.
more like confirmed jewlary
>applies arbitrary length news needs to be before it can be considered 'valid'
>tries to sell magazines
fuck off dude
Yeah and Sup Forums doesn't do that obviously.
Calm down son.
Also you need to be over 12 to post on this website.
Use fark, all jokes aside.
