"f.lux is just a meme," they said

>"f.lux is just a meme," they said

I used it and decided it is, especially after calibrating my monitor properly.

It also fucks with your monitor profiles, so if you have a calibrated monitor and you use f.lux then you can't trust your colors anymore even when you disable f.lux.

All you need to do is calibrate your monitor for around 100-120 cd/m^2 and f.lux becomes irrelevant.

apply yourself

it causes 3/4 of frames to drop and drains battery faster than Russian hooker
spending money after sucking 80 dicks in one day

It's literally taking up 0% of CPU.

i'm not talking about 6770k

I have a Core i3-2350M.

Just make your screen darker. Get a program that makes it darker then if can go

>Just make your screen darker.
you're not supposed to just lower the brightness, that will give you eye strain

Well close your eyes then. Look around at far away distances every now and then.

>Get a program that makes it darker then it can go

flux does this

While making it yellow, sure.

I've only noticed Flux cause any issue during transition. Try setting 60 second transition instead of an hour.

isn't there usually a key combo that overrides windows lowest brightness? Like alt+something.

Use that.

Try sunsetscreen, it lets you control brightness and colour temp seperately

funny how people try and pick fights over the stupidest shit.

i use flux, works fine for me. i don't mind the color change because i can't see colors very well.

That last sentence made me laugh for some reason

>works on my machine
>can't even see the piss orange/yellow screen

Take a hike you colorblind gimp

You only get eye strain if you transition between bright and dark frequently.

anything besides 6500k looks fucking putrid
these programs are awful

>i don't mind the color change because i can't see colors very well.

You should be in charge of race relations

>brushes off physical, optical devices as horseshit
>thinks adjusting pixel colors achieves actual result and more.
